It was time.

I was already moving inside the building, along the red carpets of the government building that Mayor Talon called home.

We arrived at dusk, and went over the plan once more. I would sneak in and find the Mayor, Ex would be nearby, watching over me and providing assistance by taking out guards.

Finn didn't trust Ex to do the job, it wasn't that he didn't think he would do it. More of the fact that he wanted it to not be him, after all Alan Talon is Ex's uncle, regardless of them not being a good example of the model family, still they are family nonetheless.

When we first arrived, Ex and I went over the plan for several hours, we noticed that the Mayor wasn't even at the government building. It was three or four hours ago now that Mayor Talon arrived back at his base. He brought back a large convoy of armed soldiers, that at this point have mostly left the government building.

I walked further down the hall, careful not to make any noise. I had a Katana sword in it's hostler over my back, along with a holstered pistol strapped to the side of my right leg.

I approached a corner, according to the maps that Ex and I studied while making the plan, this corner turns into another hallway, which at the end of it was the door to Mayor Talons personal office.

I peeked my eye around the corner, and saw two armed guards standing on either side of the large closed white painted wooden doors.

I pulled out my pistol, which had a silencer on the end of it, and jumped around the corner, instantly firing my pistol at both of the guards heads with deadly accuracy.

The guards dropped to the ground, a trail of blood was on the wall where there brain matter was splattered over the wall. I holstered my weapon as I approached the office doors, and instead pulled out my Katana.

I stood in front of the door, and I put my ear to it, listening to see if there was someone inside the room.

I couldn't tell, but judging by the silence I would assume that the Mayor was alone. I kicked open the doors and held my Katana up, ready to swing at my enemy.

I found the Mayor jump to his feet from behind his desk, he raised his hands and his eyebrows were raised in surprise.

"Who are you?" Mayor Talon asked in curiosity and fear.

"I work for the Rebellion, your time is over Talon!" I spoke to him.

Mayor Talon smirked then spoke "No, your time is over you piece of filth!" Mayor spoke with only half confidence.

Suddenly I hear the sound of boots stomping on the wood floor in the distance. I turn to see a large group of at least a dozen guards turning the corner and running straight towards us. I slam the doors shut, and grab a nearby lamp, using it to barricade the doors and keep the doors from opening.

I turned around to kill the Mayor, but was in shock to see that the man was gone. I noticed one of his windows was wide open however. I holstered my weapon and took a deep breath of frustration

"That cheeky bastard" I thought as I jumped out the window after him. We were on ground level, so it made sense that he would run out this way. I saw him running out to the back gardens of the Government building.

I gave him chase, and he eventually got tired and stopped running. I tackled him, and I rolled away from him, sliding and coming to my hands and knees, I blew my bangs out of my eyes as I drew my sword once again and came to my feet.
