The Rebellion
Jayce Slade"Master Finn requests for you both to come to visit him in the training hall" Sarah spoke sticking her head in the guest room that they gave us inside the large building of the Dojo.
Cyblow caught the ball that he was bouncing off the wall out of boredom.
I stood to my feet from the chair that sat in the corner of the room.
"Why?" I asked.
A grin appeared on Sarah's face.
"Finn has a surprise"
Cyblow and I looked to each other in question, then we followed Sarah to the training room.
Sarah opened the sliding doors for us to enter, standing in the training room were two figures.
Master Finn was the first figure, who was facing me, he looked at me from across the room and a welcoming and warming smile grew on his face. He was in a conversation with the second figure.
The second figure was a young woman, she turned around to face Cyblow and I, and I stopped, as water formed in my eyes.
"Cassi?" I mumbled facing my younger sister from across the room.
"Alright! Finally I can go home!" Cyblow spoke turning to me and holding his palm in the air. "I'm the best, high five" He spoke.
I ignored him as I walked towards my sister with open arms. She whipped away the tears from her face as he ran towards my embrace.
"What are you doing here?" Cassi cried into my shoulder, the tears were in joy. I didn't expect to ever see her again, I only hoped. I figured that hope of seeing me had faded from her after two months of silence.
"I came to find you" I spoke truthfully.
After a few moments of silence between us, Finn spoke up.
"Remember the two prisoners that left the Mayor?"
Cassi let go of me and turned to face Finn. "Yeah?" She asked.
"Well, I got there names shortly after you and Ex left, it was Jayce and some woman named Kiera" Finn spoke.
Cassi looked back at me. "Kiera's alive?" She asked.
I nodded.
"She's back at Sandlock, Maya and her new son Ebow are there too" I spoke happily.
"Son?" She spoke in joy. "She had the baby? I'm a aunt?" Cassi whipped away the tears of joy as she began to laugh in happiness.
What did she mean she was a aunt?
"How did Ex not make it again? You mention he sacrificed himself, but what happened exactly?" Finn spoke.
Cassi turned serious.
"I got attacked by Kai, Ex saved me and I escaped. He could've tried, but he went back to buy me time, I don't know if he was captured or not" Cassi spoke as she shrugged.
"Alright, well I doubt Alan would kill Ex without making it some sort of public event" Finn spoke rubbing his chin.
I briefly glanced around the room, and noticed that the sliding door that we came in from was closed, Sarah must've closed it as she left. Cyblow was also standing in front of a wooden dummy, waving his arms around as if he knew what he was doing.
"WAH!" He spoke making a poor intimation of a Ninja as he hit the dummy.
"I also got some news" Finn spoke happily as my attention turned back to Finn and Cassi.
