Stage Four
Maya SkeletonWe finally got to our outpost, and we continued with our plan. It was sunset, and we knew that by now, most of the other groups would've finished there attacks already. I hoped for everyone to be alright, hell, I even hoped that the men and woman against us were alright, most of them didn't know what they were fighting for.
I laid down on my stomach, on a hill looking down at the Outpost, we had the second largest of the Outposts. This one was primarily focused on weapon development. They had several blacksmiths here, I spotted anvils, forges and molten metals being forged into blades, ammo and body armours.
I also spotted a group of a dozen soldiers, simply loading magazines with ammunition. Major Skeleton was prepping a army for war.
The walls of the Outpost were most like fences, they had two wooden watch towers with a sniper on each to act as guards but clearly the Outpost was not meant to defend against a attack.
I took a deep breath and focused, I aimed the reticle of my sniper rifle just above the first snipers head. I exhaled as I pulled the trigger. My sniper was silenced, so the other sniper across the Outpost didn't even notice.
The shell of my last bullet flew out the side of my sniper, and I aimed my reticle onto the other snipers head.
I pulled the trigger and watched the second sniper drop to the ground.
"We're a go!" I spoke into my ear piece.
Just as we planned I saw a group trucks come from over a hill to the north of the Outpost, I currently laid down on east hill.
The trucks ran right through the fence and our Knights from Blakwall came out from the trucks, unloading on the Outpost.
I quickly packed up my stuff and ran down the hill towards the fight. By the time I ran over the turned over fence and into the Outpost, the gunfire ceased to exist, the fight was already over.
Blakwall's Knights were lining up the remaining enemy soldiers on there knees. I instantly spotted Charity ordering around soldiers on how to gather the enemy soldiers.
I walked over to Claws, who stood by the captured soldiers, she was on the radio with the Dojo.
"Alright, we'll be there soon" Claws spoke ending the conversation she was having and placing the radio on her belt.
"Hey, so it went well?" I asked.
Claws nodded. "Yes, good work with that shooting there Mrs.Skeleton, it was over just as quickly as it began as it would seem. Most of these people aren't even soldiers, they're workers who didn't know what they were fighting for. We'll bring them back to Blakwall."
I glanced at the radio, curious on what Claws was talking about.
"Were you talking to the Dojo?" I asked.
Claws nodded. "Yes, none of the other teams have reported back, except for Max's unit which made it to the Fight Pits safely. Sorry Maya, I know your waiting on your fiance, no such news as of yet." Claws spoke, she placed a hand on my shoulder and spoke in a reinsuraning voice. "I'm sure Ryder is just fine"
I faked a smile and nodded. "He's survived worse" I spoke.
I still worried about him, his body survived worse sure, but it wasn't him in the driver seat when we all tried to kill him.
"Ma'am, we have a problem" Someone spoke emerging from a tent. It was Shaun, one of Claw's captains.
Claws turned to face Shaun, and walked towards the Tent, I followed her inside it.
