Stand With Us
Jayce Slade

It's been three weeks since the fight with Dante, Ace has been seriously injured and actually has been slipping in and out of a coma state.

The doctors here can only really hope for him, as can any of us.

I've remained at the fight pits, I've been sitting by Ace's bedside everyday or so. Wondering on how the others have been doing since i last spoke to them.

Cassi went to the Dojo, about a week ago, she has been going there and back to keep me updated on what's going on with the rebellion.

Apparently, Finn has been training his people for the big fight, while Kiera has found a new batch of fighters that came from a blimp from another world. Finn wasn't sure who was in the blimp, or where it was from exactly, but since they were willing to fight i didn't really care who they were.

Kiera has continued to train her people, and they are talking about sending someone to Castle Blakwall to try and convince them to stand by our side, while Finn wants me to stay here and continue to convince Natasha.

I honestly think I've become a annoyance for Natasha, since every time we've spoken I have asked her to join, and she has declined over and over again.

Cassi sat down next to me. I sat outside of Ace's bedroom. Natasha was currently inside and she wanted some time to be with him alone. I've learned that too, I've kinda picked up the romantic vibes between them, or at least that Natasha cares for him beyond being a fighter in the Fight Pits.

"So, Finn wanted a progess report" Cassi spoke.

I laughed.

"Hi to you too" I spoke putting my face in my hands. "Well, food still sucks, Ace is still on the brink of death and Natasha still doesn't want to join" I looked over to face her, placing my hands on my lap.

"Is that good enough?" I asked.

"I'll pass it on" Cassi nodded.

We both sat in silence, most of our conversations have been like this lately. Besides the war, and our current discomforts there wasn't really much to talk about between us.

"I found him" Cassi spoke.

"Who" I asked.

"Dante-" She started as I let out a breath of annoyance. That was the only other thing that she has talked to me about. She still believes that he is in there somewhere.

"I know, I know" Cassi argued knowing my distaste of this topic. "But you have to consider all the facts"

"Cassi, he's gone alright. Nothing left, his mind was probably fried by Skeleton and there's nothing we can do to fix him. He probably doesn't want to be fixed" I spoke hoping she'd finally give up this quest to have him back.

"Maybe, I dunno If I could just arrange a talk with him" Cassi spoke with hope in her voice.

"Look, Major Skeleton has been living at the City right?" I asked questioning her facts that she has been passing onto me.

"Right" Cassi spoke in slight anger.

"Then we can't arrange a meeting with him, Major Skeleton is without a doubt working with the Mayor, and the Mayor knows that we work with the Rebellion, the only reason that I am still alive right now is because Natasha hasn't ratted me out yet" I spoke pointing to the door of Ace's bedroom.

Cassi let out a breath of frustration, giving up on her mission temporarily.

"Anything else?" I asked.
