Sneaking Out
Max WitheredI walked into the prison hut. There was no guard, no locks except the one on Michelle's door. It was late, perhaps after midnight. The damp air smelled like fish.
I walked up to the door and knocked on it.
Karma woke up, sat up and looked at me with questioning eyes.
"What are you doing here? Here to gloat?" She asked.
"Depends on how you answer my question" I spoke.
Karma seemed confused. I took my backpack off of my back and placed it on the floor, I pulled out Karma's double barreled shotgun.
"I need you help" I spoke offering her the shotgun through the bars.
She took it and held it in her hands. It seemed to give her comfort.
"Help with what?" Karma asked.
"Does it matter?" I tested.
"Doesn't if you get me out of here" Karma spoke.
"Good" I spoke grabbing the padlock to her cell in my hands and activating my powers, the electricity burned the lock right off the bar. I backed up as Karma opened the cell door and walked out.
"What's the plan?" Karma asked.
"We need to leave, but first, we need a guide. Follow me" I spoke turning and walking back out onto the streets of Sandlock.
Karma followed me down the dark streets until we stopped at a hut, this hut still had a light on, unlike most of the other huts. This hut belonged to Rielly.
I knocked once then quickly pushed open the door, worried that someone would see Karma out on the street.
Before I stepped inside the hut however I spotted someone on the bed of Rielly's house. Or rather, someones. Rielly was only in a shirt, and his underwear making out with another man in his bed.
"Jesus" I mumbled closing the door.
"Sorry" I heard Rielly shout. "I'll be with you in just a second" Rielly called as I heard shuffling from inside.
"What's wrong?" Karma asked from behind me.
"Rielly has a guest over" I smirked.
After several moments, Rielly opened the door, now fully dressed, his guest was preparing four cups of home made tea.
"Karma?" Rielly asked in alarm, then giving me a quick glance.
"Yes, that's her, I freed her listen I need your help" I spoke to Rielly.
"What is it Max?" Rielly asked sounding generally concerned. The other man with the tea passed us each a cup then took a seat on the bed, sipping his slowly.
"Thank you Josh" Rielly spoke sipping his tea.
"No problem" Josh mumbled.
"I need to reach a bunker in the mountains, it's near the City, I need a guide" I spoke.
Rielly looked over to Josh, and Josh nodded.
"Why?" Rielly asked.
"I believe there is something in there, or possibly even someone that is strong enough to defeat the Creator" I spoke.
Rielly's eyebrows raised, knowing everything I told him about the Creator.
"Well" Rielly started before taking another sip of his tea. "I won't guide you, I'm far to busy here, however Josh will" Rielly spoke giving Josh another quick glance.
