2:7: Hidden Masks (My Favorite Episode)

I'm at the Salvatore Boarding House with Damon and Caroline as I'm sitting on her right side and Damon hands her a glass of blood. "Here." He says. "I'm still shaking." She says and Stefan walks in. "What happened?" He asks as she sips the drink and sighs. "Go ahead, tell him. You're gonna love this." Damon says. "She saw Katheine today." I say. "Where?" Stefan asks. "At the Grill. I just stopped by to gawk and.. quasi-stalk Matt." She says and goes into detail about her talk with Matt. "Skip the teen drama and get to it." Damon says. "Then I had to pretend to use the bathroom even though I didn't really have to go because I'm a idiot." Caroline says and continues. "And she has a message." She says. "What was the message?" Stefan asks. "Tell Damon and Stefan that she and Dimitri want the Moonstone or they will rip this town apart until it rains blood." Caroline says. "Tell him the rest of it." Damon says. "Tonight. At the Masquerade Ball." I say. "They want to do it in public. Killing Mason threw them off guard." Stefan says, walking around. "Katherine's running scared. What she did to Jenna was desperate. She's out of tricks." Damon says. "We can't underestimate them. We have to play this smarter than them." Stefan says. "Can't we just give them the moonstone so they'll leave?" Caroline asks. "No, Katherine's nor Dimitri is getting dick. I've had it. I'm gonna go to the Masquerade Ball and I'm gonna kill them. Tonight." Damon says and Stefan walks over to him. "You're not gonna kill them." Stefan says. "Don't give me that goody-goody shit." Damon says. "You're not gonna kill them." Stefan says. "Really?" I ask and everyone looks at me. "Because I am." Stefan says and looks at Damon. "I'll kill her, you kill Dimitri." He says.

Dimitri's POV:

Katherine and I walk into her room as Ms. Flowers is helping us with her bags since I already put mine away. "Where should I put these?" Ms. Flowers asks. "Right there. Thank you, Mrs. Flowers. You've been such a wonderful help." I say as she puts the bags on the table. "Oh, it's my pleasure dears. Let me know if there's anything else I can do." She says. "We will." Katherine says and Ms. Flowers leaves, shutting the door behind her with her left hand and Katherine takes a black dress out of her bag. "Nice dress." I say. "Thanks." She says and we feel someone behind us, and push them against the wall, and see it's Lucy. "Woah, Kat, Dim. Chill." She says. "Do not sneak up on a vampire." I say and we put our hands down. "Don't attack a witch." Lucy says as we walk back to the bags, and look at her as she's smiling at us. "It's good to see you two." She says and we smile back, and group hug. "We're glad you made it." Katherine says. "You called. I came." Lucy says. "Like you had a choice." I say. "Don't get all bossy on me. You know I love you both." She says, picking up a golden mask with her right hand. "And where does one where this?" She asks. "To a masquerade ball. Tonight. You want to be my other date?" Katherine asks.

Adam's POV:

I'm still at the Salvatore Boarding House as we see Bonnie walk in and I'm with Damon and Dad as he's teaching us about vampire weapons, and see Jeremy walk in. "We're gonna kill Katheine and Dimitri." Jeremy says and walks over to us. "I can explain." Stefan says. "Please." Bonnie says. "We're gonna kill Katheine and Dimitri." Stefan says and walks over to us as Alaric is showing us how to use bows and arrows. "This works with compressed air. The trigger mechanism is up here. I have two of these in a different size." He says and looks at me, as he's holding a weapon you put under your sleeve. "For you I recommend this. It fits nicely under the jacket sleeve. You use the trigger when you're ready." He says, putting it on his sleeve, launches the wooden stake and pretends to kill Damon. "You wanted me to show you how to kill a vampire." Dad says to Damon.

Dimitri's POV:

Katherine and I are making ourselves look like Adam and Elena, except no glasses for me. "What's with the hair?" Lucy asks as Katherine is straightening her hair. "I'm impersonating my dull-as-dishwater doppelgänger Elena. She has the worst taste." Katherine says. "And the oh so handsome Adam. I wonder where he gets his looks from. Oh, wait. Me." I say. "Worst tastes except in men. Isn't it a risk pretending to be them in front of the entire town?" Lucy asks. "I've gotten quite good at it actually and everyone's gonna be in masks. It's for some feed this, something charity. It's for a good cause, Lucy." Katherine says. "And points for Adam for seducing Mason." I say. "Well, have you two actually seen the moonstone before? I always thought it was some made up legend." Lucy says. "We have seen it and we need your help to get it back." I say. "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do with it?" Lucy asks and we look at her. "You two want me to break the curse." She says. "Let's just get it first. All we really need from you is backup. I can't imagine that Damon and Stefan are just gonna hand it over without putting up a fight." Katherine says.
