I walk downstairs in the basement of the Salvatore Boarding House to bring Dad some stuff that's in bag in my right hand, as he's in the Cellar. "Dad?" I ask, looking through the barred door window. "Yeah? Still me." He says and I unlock the door with my right hand, and see him sitting on a cot. "You know, you shouldn't be in here. It defeats the point of the whole being locked in a cellar thing." He says as I walk in and drop the bag onto the ground. "Well, you still need the basics. Toothbrush, clothes, some boring books to help you sleep." I say as he grabs a book with his right hand. "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?" He asks. "What?" I ask and grab the book with my right hand. "No, I got--" I say and sigh. "Damon. Thinks he's hillarious." I say. "At least one of us still has a sense of humor." He says. "Are you sure that you-- I mean you don't have to be kept in here." I say. "Ah, no, this is.. this is the right place for me to be. At least until you guys can convince my highly uncooperative alter ego to fess up to where I or he hid the white oak stake." He says. "We looked everywhere. You.. the other you, hid it well." I say. "What's Klaus gonna do if you can't find it?" He asks. "It's the only thing that will kill him, so wage war, murder people, you know Klaus stuff." I say and pull up a chair, and sit down in front of him. "Listen, Stefan is gonna watch over you for a little while. Now that Klaus knows where Jeremy is, it's not safe so, Damon, Elena and I are gonna go to Denver to pick him up." I say. "Why do you say that like you're waiting for me to disapprove?" He asks. "I don't know. Elena and Damon. Traveling across the country." I say. "I guess I'm more curious to hear what Stefan has to say about it." He says. "Actually, it was his idea. He thinks that she has some unresolved feelings for Damon." I say. "Does she?" He asks. "You'll have to ask her." I say.

Damon, Elena and I arrive to a batting cage in Denver, looking for Jeremy and see him holding a bat, ready for the swing. "There he is." Elena says and Jeremy misses the ball as it comes to him. "Next time we compel him, remind me to make him better at baseball." Damon says. "Agreed. I love baseball." I say and they both look at me. "What? Not everyone knows everything about me." I say and Elena walks over to the cage. "Hey, Jer!" She exclaims and Jeremy looks at her as I walk over to them. "Elena? Adam?" He asks, smiling at us and we smile back as he takes his helmet off with his right hand. "What's wrong?" He asks.

The four of us are walking out of the batting cages. "Katherine and Dimitri sired us, Rose sired Katherine and Dimitri, all we need to do is find out who sired Rose." Damon says as Jeremy puts his aluminum bat down with the others. "So, you traveled across the country to get me to talk to a dead vampire?" Jeremy asks. "Dead vampire is redundant, but yes." Damon says. "Well, I can't. I could talk to Anna and Vicki because I knew them. I've never even met Rose." Jeremy says, putting his helmet away and steps in front of us. "What good is you dying and coming back to life if you can't talk to a ghost when I need you to?" Damon asks. "Rose spent a long time running from Klaus as well. She and Damon were close, so maybe we can use him as a connection." Elena says. "Fine, fine, but can we do this later? My friend just got here. And yes, Damon, I actually have some. I'll call you when I'm done." Jeremy says and kisses Elena's right cheek, and walks past her as I feel someone is behind me. "Hello, darling." Kol says and I turn around to look at him. "Damon, it's Kol!" Elena exclaims and I notice Kol is holding a wooden baseball bat behind him in his right hand and he hits Damon in the face with it, making half of it break. "What are you doing?!" Jeremy exclaims. "Jeremy, get back! He's an Original." Elena says. "What?" Jeremy asks. "No hard feelings, mate. But we're not buds. Although your brother and I are the best of friends. With that whole white oak problem." Kol says, picking up Jeremy's bat with his right hand. "What?!" Elena exclaims. "You know, I'll never get use to aluminum. But hey, at least it won't break." He says and swings to hit Damon but Damon stabs him with the broke wooden bat in his right hand and it goes though Kol's chest, making him fall. "Damon!" I exclaim. "Did you kill him?" Jeremy asks. "No, but it'll give us a head start. Ok, come on." Damon says, standing up and looks at me. "I can't believe you told him." He says. "If I hadn't, the entire vampire species would probably be dead." I say.

We're carrying our luggage up the stairs to our motel room. "For the record, she's the one who wanted to stay in a motel, not me." Damon says. "So, where are we?" I ask. "Corner of somewhere and nowhere where your boyfriend can't find us." Damon says. "He's not my boyfriend." I say. "Does he know that?" Damon asks and I roll my eyes. "I can't believe Kol was a vampire." Jeremy says. "Well, didn't you find it weird that you made a friend so fast? Have you met you? Even Smartass makes faster friends. An entire family of them." Damon says. "Not helping." Elena says and I open the motel room door with my right hand. "Well, this should work, right Jer?" I ask. "Yeah, doesn't really matter." Jeremy says and we hear the door close. "Alright Whoopi, what do you need?" Damon asks and draws the curtains. "Candles? Incense? Pottery wheel?" He asks. "That's not how it works." Jeremy says. "I know, I know. They push from the other side and you pull from this one." Damon says, taking his jacket off. "Alright, you uh-- you got a picture of her?" Jeremy asks. "Picture? What, a trip to Disneyland? Come on Rose, you're not gonna actually make us wait, are you? I know you're obsessed with me." Damon asks and Elena groans, and walks over to sit next to Jeremy. "All right, uh- tell me something about her." Jeremy says and Damon sits down on the end of the right bed. "Um, well she does this little thing with her tongue." He says. "Something that matters, Damon." Elena says. "She spent her last day in paradise. Soaking in the sun and reminiscing about what it means to be human. And when death came, she didn't fear it." Damon says. "I was with her on her last day and she definitely wasn't in paradise." I say. "It was in the dream he gave her. She's here." Jeremy says.

We're still in the motel room. "Is she lonely on the Other Side?" I ask. "She says not to worry, she's happy." Jeremy says. "Is she still hot?" Damon asks. "She misses you." Jeremy says and looks at Elena and back to Damon. "She, uh. She misses all three of you. Especially Damon and Elena because she thinks Adam is upset that she tried to eat him." He says. "It's okay, Rose. You're long forgiven." I say. "She was sired by someone named Mary Porter." Jeremy says. "Uh, Scary Mary. Well, where is she, Rose?" Damon asks and I get a text, and look at my phone as it's from Kol. "Meet me in Kansas at 407 Peach Lane." I read to myself. "I'm going to get some snacks from the gas station." I say steal the car keys with my right hand when they're not looking and head to Kansas.

I arrive to an old, abandoned-looking house. "Creepy." I say and walk inside, looking around for Kol. "Kol?" I ask and walk into a room, and see a female vampire who is staked against the wall as I beam my flashlight in my right hand at her, and drop my flashlight, and I'm about to scream, and a cold hand covers my mouth. "Sh, it's just me, darling." Kol whispers in my right ear and puts his hand down, and I turn around to see him smiling at me. "Hi." I say, smiling back. "You came." He says. "Of course I did. I'm assuming you want to talk about being more than.. friends?" I ask and look down, and he touches the right side of my face, gently and I look up at him. "I'll never hurt you darling. I give you my word. And I will kill anyone who does." He says and puts his hand down as our eyes connect with each other's, and feel his lips softly against mine, and I kiss back, resting my hands on his chest and his around my waist, and hear the front door open. "Just leave Jeremy alone, ok?" I ask. "Sure, darling." He says.

I'm sitting on Kol's lap as he's sitting in a chair with a baseball in his right hand and we hear the door open, and I notice Elena shines her flashlight at Mary. "Mary." Damon says and the light turns on. "Quite contrary." Kol says. "How does her dead garden grow?" I ask and Kol chuckles. "You've got to be kidding me." Damon says.

Kol is walking around with his right arm over my shoulders. "Shame about Mary. She used to be a blast. Don't quite know what happened. I fear all the time she spent with my family might have ruined her. She was a bit of an Original groupie. Just like this one, only this one isn't dying, well, again, anytime soon." He says. "And were you her favorite?" Elena asks. "You mean, did I turn her? I think I did. But no, wait, maybe it was Rebekah. There was also a Klaus period. And let's not forget the Elijah affair. I spoke to my brother, I know you're trying to find out who you descended from. Now you never will. So, where did we leave off?" Kol asks and puts his arm down, and hits Damon with the bat in the knee, making him fall and hits him repeatedly. "Elena, get out of here!" Damon exclaims and she starts running, and Kol appears in front of her. "Kol." I say. "According to my brother and my boyfriend, your brother, you're off limits. Please don't test me." Kol says and Damon appears in front of Kol. "Don't touch her." Damon says, grabbing Kol's neck with his right hand and Kol throws him off. "Oh, dear. I've hit the nerve." He says, laughing. "Relax, darling, I just want us to be even. You snapped my neck, you killed my brother, and then you humiliated me." He says and hits Damon three more times and smiles. "There. Now we're even." Kol says and wraps his arms around my waist, and we dash off.
