I'm jogging around town, hearing the bell ring from Town Square and slow down, and stop, breathing heavily, and look at my watch on my right hand, and turn around, and see a man in a dark hoodie, running towards me and I turn around, and continue running, and look behind me, and see him following me, and look forward again, panting, and look back, twice and then turn to the left, and run faster, and see a tree, and put my right hand on it, gasping, looking behind me and don't see him, breathing heavily, and exhale, and turn around, and bump into him as I grunt and gasp, as I see he has earbuds in and he takes his hood and earbuds out. "Excuse me." He says, smiling. "I should have watched where I was going. Sorry, pal." He says. "Don't worry about it. I guess I'm just a little paranoid today." I say. "You have a nice day." He says, smiling. "You, too." I say and he runs off, and I look behind me, seeing him.
Bonnie and I are sitting at the Mystic Grill as I'm biting my right index finger. "I feel like I'm going crazy. I'm totally paranoid all the time." I say. "You have a right to be. Klaus is still out there and he knows you tried to kill him. Even after you spared his life. What the hell was that?" She asks. "I have my own reasons for saving him and Damon hates me now. I mean, isn't that what all you guys wanted? Why hasn't Klaus made a move? There has been no sign of him. Nothing. Just my slow spiral into insanity." I say. "Join the club. Every time I close my eyes, I have that nightmare. On repeat. And, of course not. Damon cares for you, and he's learned to be less of a dick. Just talk to him." She says. "I can't. He truly hates me, and I don't blame him. The same dream?" I ask. "Yep. Four coffins, Klaus is in one of them. It's weird." She says. "What if it's not just.. some dream? What if it's, like, you know, a witch dream? Klaus has four siblings." I say. "Hm, maybe. Or maybe it's just stress. I'll figure it out. And what about Stefan? Has there been any sign of him?" She asks and I shake my head. "The Stefan that we know is gone." I say. "How is Damon handling that? I mean, you're bound to know what he's up to, even if he is mad at you." He says. "Damon is.. Damon." I say.
I'm leaving Jeremy a voicemail after learning that Jeremy has been failing History and got fired from work. "Jeremy, the second that you get this, call me." I say, angrily and hang up. "Unbelievable." I say. "You're fiesty when you're mad." He says, smiling, as I look at him. "It's not that I'm mad. I'm just. I'm worried. And, what? Now you're talking and smiling at me?" I ask. "We're sharing a mutual goal called your brother, but why? He lost his job at the Grill. He can survive, Adam." He says. "He's spiraling. Ever since Bonnie broke up with him, he is moody, he is not really talking to anyone." I say. "He's not the only one "spiraling". He's just a typical teenager, unlike you." He says. "Who's seeing ghosts and has lost everyone that he cares about. When are you going to stop hating me?" I ask. "When you're dead on the floor with your heart ripped out." He says, as I have my arms crossed. "Asshole." I say. "You're the one who spared Klaus' life." He says and turns to the dartboard, and sighs. "Not everyone. He still has you." He says and throws the Dart with his right hand, and goes to retrieve them. "You okay? I mean, besides the whole, me saving Klaus thing." I say. "What makes you think I'm not okay?" He asks, approaching me. "Well, you're a day drunk. It's not exactly your most attractive look " I say. "Oh. What is my most attractive look?" He asks, smiling, getting closer. "I'm not saying you have any attractive looks. I'm just.. saying this is my least favorite one. How can you hate me and still try flirting with me?" I ask. "It's a paradox. Noted. See if I can make any improvements. Maybe you should, too." He says. "Don't mind me." Klaus says as I turn around, looking at him. "Klaus." I say and he smiles. "You gonna do this in the Grill? In front of everyone? It's a little beneath you, don't you think?" Damon asks. "I don't know what you are talking about. I just came down to my local pub to grab a drink with a mate. Nice to see you again, Adam, love." Klaus says, walking towards us and stops, and turns around to his friend. "Get a round in, would you, Tony?" He asks and I notice it's the jogger from earlier, and Klaus looks back at me, smiling. "I'm surprised you stuck around town long enough for Happy Hour." Damon says. "My sister seems to be missing. Need to sort that out." Klaus says as I look at him. "Cute, blonde bombshell? Psycho? Shouldn't be too hard to find." Damon says as I look at him and back to Klaus, and he approaches us. "Truth is I've grown to rather like your little town. Think I might fancy a home here." He says and takes the darts from Damon with his right hand. "Oh I imagine you're wondering how does this is affect you." He says, walking past Damon and over to the dartboard as I look at him. "And the answer is, not in the slightest. As long as I get what I want and everyone behaves themselves you can go on living your little lives however you choose." He says and looks at us. "You have my word." He says. "What more could you possibly want?" I ask and he approaches me. "Well, for starters, you can tell me where I might find Stefan." He says. "Stefan skipped town the second he saved your ass. Along with this one." Damon says ss I look at him, and back to Klaus. "Well, you see, that is a shame." He says and turns around, and throws the dart, hitting Bullseye, and turns around, looking at Damon. "Your brother stole from me. I need him found so I can take back what's mine." He says. "You're siblings. That sounds like a Klaus and Stefan problem." I say and he walks over to me, and Damon steps in front of me, and Klaus looks at him, and chuckles, and looks back to me. "Well, this is me broadening the scope, darling." He says, smiling.
