2:10: A Different Plan

I wake up to hearing footsteps, and rub my eyes, and see that my bedroom door is ajar, and lay my head on the left side of my bed, and cuddle up to my pillow, and hear a door slam, and I sit straight up, and get out of bed, and walk to my door, tou it with my left hand, opening it more, and put my hand down, and walk into the hall, past Jenna's open bedroom door, and walk to Jeremy's, and look in, and hear footsteps, and turn around, gasping, and see Dad holding a bowl in his right hand, wearing only underwear as he gasps as well, and we both breathe heavily. "Adam. Ahem." He says. "I heard something. I guess it was you." I say, and he chuckles, and puts the bowl near his area, and I see Jenna walking towards us. "That was us. I'm sorry." She says, giving an awkward smile, and see her wearing Dad's shirt. "We didn't think anyone else was up." He says. "But here you are." She says. "We were just." He says, and holds up the bowl. "Chunky Monkey?" He asks. "Uh.. I'm not really hungry. Thanks." I say and they both chuckle. "Well, I'm naked. Besides the whole underwear thing. So, I'm just gonna go." He says and walks past me. "Awkward father and son moment." Jenna says as I look at her. "Very." I say and walk past her. "I'm really, really sorry." She says and I stop, and turn around to look at her. "It's okay, Jenna. Don't worry about it." I say. "I know he's been staying over a lot. Are you-- are you sure it's okay?" She asks. "Seems like things are good." I say. "They're extremely good." She says and we both laugh. "Then I'm extremely okay with it. I'd be happy to call you my step mother." I say and we smile at each other, and I head back to bed.

I'm in the Kitchen with Elena, Damon and Stefan as Damon is tossing an apple back and forth in his hands as we're talking about Dimitri and Katherine. "She said that if we let them out, they'll give us the Moonstone and disappear from Mystic Falls, forever." Stefan says. "You don't believe him, do you?" I ask. "No, of course not. We just want the Moonstone." Damon says. "According to Rose's friend Slater, there's a way to destroy the spell that Klaus wants to break." Stefan says. "No spell, no Doppelganger sacrifices. Ergo, you two live." Damon says, and Elena crosses her arms. "How do you destroy it?" She asks and Stefan leans on the counter. "By releasing it from the Moonstone." Stefan says, nodding. "How do you guys even know this is gonna work?" I ask, as Elena and I walk over to Stefan. "Because we have a crafty Warlock on our side." Damon says, as we look at him. "You discussed it with Bonnie." Elena says. "She agreed to do anything she could to help us." Stefan says, as I look at him, and he nods. "It's Katherine and Dimitri who have the Moonstone." I say, and look at Damon. "They're not just going to give it to you." I say, shaking my head. "We're gonna get it from them." Stefan says, as we look at him, and sit down. "Well, what he means to say is that we will pry it from their cold, dead hands if we have to." Damon says, as we look at him. "Bonnie just needs to find a way to release the seal long enough for us to get in, get the Moonstone, and get out in time for him to return it." Stefan says, as we look at him. "Wow. I mean, it sounds like you guys already have it all planned out." I say, and look at Damon. "Yep. We're awesome." He says, smiling. "Except for one thing." Elena says, and we all look at her. "I don't want you to do it." She says and Damon and Stefan look at each other, and back to us. "What are you talking about? Elena, we don't have a choice." Stefan says. "What about Klaus?" I ask. "We'll find him, but after we get the Moonstone." He says. "Is that before or after he kills everyone that we care about, including the two of you?" I asl, as I look at Damon, and back to Stefan, and point at Stefan and then to Damon with my right index finger, and look at Damon, as I put my hand down. "Adam, Elena, if we can de-spell the Moonstone, we can save your lives." Stefan says. "I know. Everyone keeps saying that." Elena says and stands up, and walks off.

I arrive to the Salvatore Boarding House, open the door with my right hand and walk in, and close the door, and look around. "It's not nice to leave a girl naked so early in the morning." Rose says, as I look at her in a silk maroon robe with chinese designs on it. "Woah. Sorry, I thought you were.." She says, as I look forward. "I, uh.. sorry.. um, I.." I say. "There's no one else here." She says, and I look at her. "Actually, I came to talk to you." I say, and she points behind her with her right thumb, and puts her hand down. "Then I should probably get dressed." She says, smiling, and walks off.
