I'm at the Salvatore Boarding House with Stefan as he's examining one of the Hunter's wooden stakes and see Damon walk in with more boxes as we're surrounded by them already. "So what is all this?" I ask. "Some personal items that I snaked from the vampire hunter's RV. May he rest in peace. I'm searching for a supernatural handbook." Damon says. "And you know for a fact that he was supernatural?" Stefan asks. "Definitely wasn't natural. The guy magically appeared just as someone blows up the entire Founders Council. He's covered in a tattoo that only Jeremy Gilbert." Damon says and looks at me. "Your brother of all people in the world, seems to be able to see. Klaus mentioned something about him being one of The Five. Then he kamikazes himself with explosives. Sound natural to you?" Damon asks as he unloads the top box. "What's the Five?" Stefan asks. "That's what I'm hoping is in the first chapter of the handbook." Damon says, smiling and his phone rings in his back pocket and he answers it, putting his phone to his ear and holding it with his shoulder as he goes through more boxes. "Liz Forbes, my favorite sheriff." He says and looks worried. "What? That's.. concerning." He says and Stefan and I look at each other and back to Damon. "Keep me posted." He says and hangs up, putting his phone back in his pocket and goes back to unpacking boxes. "What, you're not gonna tell us?" Stefan asks. "Can't tell you. Private. We're in a fight." Damon says. "You guys are fighting?" I ask, confused and they both look at me. "He's in a fight. I'm not in a fight, I'm over it, I've been over it." Stefan says. "Not still mad at me about Elena?" Damon asks. "You let her feed on you. I'm always gonna be mad at you but we're not in a fight." Stefan says and I look up at Damon. "You let her feed from you? Isn't that kind of vampire taboo?" I ask and he looks at me. "She needed blood and I helped her. Anyway, they didn't find any remains at the explosion site." He says. "So Connor's still out there." Stefan says and Damon slams an empty box down. "Apparently so. I'm gonna need you to get on this today, Stefan. I have to take Elena and Baby Gilbert here to college." Damon says. "Shit, I completely forgot that's today. I have a few fall classes, dual enrollment." I say, texting Kol to come with me to the college. "I'm sorry, you have to do what, exactly?" Stefan asks, confused. "I'm teaching her how to feed. She needs to learn snatch, eat, erase now more than ever." Damon says and Stefan looks like he's about to say something and Damon holds up his finger to stop him. "Ah, ah. We're not in a fight, remember?" Damon asks.
Damon, Bonnie, Kol, Elena and I arrive to Whitmore College, getting out of Damon's car. "Are you sure that you're okay with this?" Elena asks Bonnie as Kol intertwines my fingers with his. "If I could spell you out of wanting blood, I would, but I can't, so better you learn this now than at freshmen orientation." Bonnie says as we start walking. "Something tells me that college isn't in my future anymore." Elena says. "Oh, stop with the pity party." Damon says and we stop to turn around to look at him. "If I can go to college, you can go to college." He says. "You went to college?" Bonnie asks. "Yep." I say. "Sure, plenty of times. I always had a thing for sorority girls." He says, smirking between Elena and Bonnie as Kol and I both laugh. "You're disgusting." Bonnie says after scoffing. "I know." Damon whispers and we continue walking.
We walk into a giant classroom as a professor is giving a lecture on witches with a slide show. "Maybe an ex-girlfriend? Well, whatever image it is it's probably not-." He says, going to the next slide of Tanielle Soso of Montego, Cameroon, as we sit down. "Is that him?" Elena asks Bonnie. "Yeah." She says. "He's kind of.." Elena says, slowly. "Hot." Bonnie says and the girls look at each other, giggling quietly and back to the Professor as Kol kisses my cheek, pulling me to his lap. "I'm an admittedly crappy photographer. Now, in reality, or in this reality at least, witches appear to cross every culture in history. They're the architects of the supernatural. Responsible for everything that goes bump in the night from ghosts to vampires to doppelgängers." The Professor says. "What is this guy, Witchipedia?" Damon whispers and Elena chuckles before Bonnie and I both shush them. "Shut up." She and I both say at the same time. "Now, if you're a skeptic, you'd call that a coincidence. But, if you're a true believer, you know that there's really no such thing. It scares the crap out of us." The Professor says and Damon and Elena start whispering about something I can't hear because I'm too interested in hearing the lecture. "Now, she is a fun size, a tutor. Geeky girls are inherently suspicious of anyone who is nice to them. What you want, [He places his arm around her shoulder and points at a girl.] is the little blonde, pretty girl. Self absorbed, easily flattered, you just have to separate her from the pack and make your move." Damon says and I roll my eyes. "Am I interrupting you guys?" Professor asks as we all look at him. "Or is it maybe the other way around?" He asks. "Sorry." Elena says. "I was just saying how much I love witches." Damon says, putting his arm down from having it over Elena's shoulders. "I was just saying how much I love witches." Damon says, smiling. "Yeah, you and me both, brother. Alright, listen, we should probably talk about the readings that none of you did." Professor says as Damon and Elena smile at each other.
Bonnie, Kol and I meet up with Elena and Damon after visiting Professor Shane; the Professor from the lecture. "What's going on?" Bonnie asks, smiling. "Nothing. Elena is educating me on the importance of feelings." Damon says, smiling as they turn around to look at us and Elena rolls her eyes. "Did you guys talk to the Professor?" She asks. "For a second. He found some stuff of my Grams' in his office and he's gonna dig it up for me. Oh, uh, this." Bonnie says, smiling as he hands Elena the flyer for the Murder House Party going on tonight. "Oh, nice, the answer to all of our problems. A frat party, douche central." Damon says as we look at him as he rubs his hands together. "Which is why, you'll be eating very well tonight." He says, smirking and Bonnie looks disgusted as he looks back at us, putting his hands down. "So, what should we go as? Victims or killers?" He asks. "Definitely killers, mate." Kol says, grinning at me and I playfully roll my eyes at him.
It's nighttime as we arrive to the Murder House Party and see a serial killer holding a Bloody Mary drink in hand. "Hey. I'm Frankie, unassuming serial killer." He says, handing us drinks. "I'm Jack. And these are the two lovely ladies I just.. rippered." Damon says, smiling at Bonnie and Elena. "He's Booth and I'm Abraham Lincoln." I say, smiling. "Welcome to the Murder House, Bloody Marys are free until midnight. Enjoy yourselves." Frankie says, walking off and Damon tips his hat and we look around. "Oh, look. Professor Creepy." Damon says as we notice Shane. "His name is Professor Shane. And he's not creepy." Bonnie says, making eye contact with him and hands Elena her drink. "I'm gonna go talk him." She says. "You do that." Damon says to her before she walks off. "Kol and I are gonna go dance." I say and lead him away from Elena and Damon to the dance floor, resting my hands on his shoulders and we start dancing and sipping on our Bloody Marys.
