I'm walking with Caroline through the gym that is being decorated for the Twenties Decade Dance while she has a clipboard in her right hand. "So, your Dad is trying to pull himself together, why is that a bad thing?" She asks. "I just.. I wish there was something I could do. He's still my Father even though he's partially psychotic right now. Then again, he didn't actually hurt me, which means I think the psychotic him is even more fatherly, aka more protective." I say walk in front of her at a table and grab a chandelier with my right hand. "Where do you want me to hang this?" I ask and she takes it from me with hers. "You know what, if Rebekah wanted to hang this monstrousity she should have shown up to do it herself. Just no." She says, handing into to a passing by girl and we look at Matt and Jeremy as their hanging stars. "What are you doing? You can't just hang them! They're supposed to trickle down." She says as I smile to myself. "Look at them all bromancy." She says. "Yeah I asked Matt to help Jeremy readjust. He got him his old job back at the Grill." I say and she looks at me. "That was nice of him." She says. "Jeremy has got a lot on his mind. The whole thing with my Dad has got him really stressed out." I say. "You sure it has nothing to do with witnessing Elena and Damon getting hot and heavy in a skeevy motel?" She asks. "I'm sure she didn't tell you that so you could torture her with it." I say and she smiles at me. "Aww, what are friends for? So who are you bringing to the dance? Anyone interest you?" She asks. "I thought you said you wanted Matt, Jeremy and I to be the three gangsters. While you, Bonnie and Elena are girl dates." I say. "I changed my mind. And Bonnie has a date. "What?" I ask. "Jamie called and wanted to see her so she asked him. "So here's a thought, why don't you ask Stefan? I mean, you are Dimitri's Doppleganger." She says. "Yeah, but. I already have a date and a boyfriend." I say. "What?!" She screams, excitedly and everyone looks at us. "Yes, sh." I say, putting my right index finger to my mouth and shush her, and put my hand down. "Well who is it? And why didn't I know about this?" She asks, crossing her arms at me. "I thought you already knew. I'm dating Kol." I say. "What?!" She yells again and I shush her again. "Are you insane? Well, then again, you did save Klaus's life by killing Mikael." She says. "And possibly your bloodline and definitely Tyler's. Look, Kol's a really nice guy. He's been there for me since we even first met. He did save my life, too." I say and she looks down, and I touch her right hand, and she looks up at me. "Yes, he may be the bad boy type, but he cares about me." I say and smile at her, and she sighs, and smiles back. "Fine. At least it isn't Klaus." She says. "Right. Because that's your department." I say, laughing and she playfully rolls her eyes.

I meet up with Damon and Meredith at the hospital as Damon texted to meet him there. "Don't do that, it's not funny!" She exclaims. "What's not?" I ask. "Whispering my name and appearing in front of me." She says. "Oh, come on. It's a little funny." Damon says, smiling. "What do you want, Damon?" She asks. "Yeah, why are we here?" I ask. "I need medical advice. For a friend. Alaric, you remember him, right? About six foot two. Tried to hack you into pieces. Father of Baby Saltzman." Damon says. "How is he? Are those herbs that Bonnie made for him working?" She asks. "I don't know." Damon says and pulls out the jar of herbs from his right pocket. "Can they work if he doesn't take them?" He says and Meredith and I both sigh. "I found these in his loft untouched." Damon says.

I'm walking around with Kol as I'm in one of his baseball uniforms, dressed as Babe Ruth and he's dressed as a gangster in all black, and a slow song turns on, and I wrap my arms around his neck and he places his around my waist. "Did I mention you look better than me in my baseball uniform?" He asks, smiling and I smile back. "Yes, you did. Twice now. And you still have the badass gangster appeal. There's something you need to know about my Dad." I say as he spins me. "What is it, darling?" He asks. "He hasn't been taking Bonnie's herbs. Damon showed Meredith and I his herb stash that was untouched." I say. "This is bad." He says. "Very bad." I say.

Kol and I are in the hallway, talking with Elena, Stefan and Damon. "If Alaric is sick then we need to find a cure. Something." Elena says. "We tried medicine. We tried magic." I say.  "Why don't we get him off vervain, compel him?" Kol asks. "What? To pretend to be Alaric? The guy that we know is gone. We're talking about someone who not only hates vampires, but vampire sympathizers. Which makes one of his most obvious targets-- I don't know-- you two!" Damon exclaims, looking at Elena and I. "What you think he'd go after Elena and Adam?" Stefan asks. "So wait, what are you suggesting we do?" I ask. "I'm suggesting that we put him out of his misery." Damon says. "What?!" Elena exclaims. "No way in hell!" Jeremy exclaims as we look at him from behind us. "Oh come on, It's what he would want. It's a mercy killing." Damon says. "You are out of your mind." Jeremy says. "And so is my Dad." I say. "Jeremy--" Elena says and Jeremy walks off, and she and I follow him outside. "Jer, stop!" Elena exclaims and he looks back at us. "This is Alaric we're talking about! He looked out for us, now we need to do the same for him." He says and looks at me. "He's your father." Jeremy says and I sigh. "No one is gonna hurt him." Elena says and he starts to walk off, but she grabs his right arm, stepping in front of him, and I stand next to her. "Hey. Hey. Look at me. I promise." She says. "Adam. Elena." Esther says from behind us and we turn around to look at her. "If you wish to help your friend and father Alaric, I suggest you come with me." She says. "Jeremy go inside and get Stefan and Damon, now!" Elena exclaims and Jeremy runs off. "I mean you both no harm. But willingly or not, you two will come." She says, starting to walk off and we follow her.
