Elena and I wake up, gasping, and see a man in black clothing, sunglasses, and a hat, carrying us, as we're panting. "Please." I whisper, and we walk into a room, and he sets me us om a couch, and I notice my hands are tied up in front of me and so are Elena's, and he takes his gloves off, then his hat and sunglasses, and then his jacket, and sits next to me on my right side, as I notice my feet are tied, too, and he untied them, as I gasp, and he unties my hands as well as Elena's. "What do you us?" Elena asks, and he shushes her. "Please, I'm hurt." She says. "I know." He says, and his eyes change to red, and his veins pop out, and I gasp. "Just a taste." He says, about to bite my arm, as I scream. "Trevor!" A dark haired woman says, and we look at her. "Control yourself." She says, and I pull my arm back, looking at him, as he lets it go, and I look back at her. "Buzz kill." He says, and walks off. "What do you want with us?" I ask. "My God, you look just like them." She says, and I shake my head. "But we're not. Please, whatever you--" Elena says as we sit up, and the woman interrupts her. "Be quiet." She says. "But I'm not Dimitri. And she's not Katherine." I say, and stand up, walking over to her with Elena. "Our names are Adam and Elena Gilbert." I say. "You don't have to do this." Elena says. "I know who you are. I said be quiet." She says. "What do you want?" I ask, and Trevor comes, and slaps me, and I go flying to the couch, unconscious.
Elena and I wake up to hear the woman talking and I feel blood on my right cheek. "How's the children?" She asks. "Still passed out." Trevor says. "You didn't touch them, did you? I mean, you slapped the boy pretty hard. You broke skin." She says. "Give me some credit. So you called him?" He asks. "No. I called one of his contacts. You know how this works." She says, as I slowly sit up, and help Elena sit up. "Did you or did you not get a message to Elijah?" He asks and we walk to a wall, and see them talking. "They say he got it." She says. "Wonderful. And what?" He asks, and I feel blood drip down my left cheek, and I touch it with my left hand, and wipe it on my pants. "So, that's it, Trevor." She says, as we slowly begin walking. "He either got it, or he didn't. We just have to wait." She says, as I put my right hand on one side of the wall, catching myself. "Look, it's not too late. We can leave them here. We don't have to go through with this." He says. "I'm sick of running." She says. "Yeah? Well, running keeps us from dying." He says. "Elijah is old school. If he accepts our deal, we're free." She says, as Elena opens the door, slowly, and it creaks. "You two!" She exclaims, as we look at her, and she approaches us, and Trevor walks off. "There's nothing around here for miles. If you two think you're getting out of this house, you're tragically wrong. Understand?" She asks. "Who's Elijah?" I ask. "He's you're worst nightmare." She says, and walks off.
"Why are we here?" I ask, as the woman turns on the lamp, and walks over to the window. "You two keep asking me theese questions like I'm gonna answer them." She says, beginning to cover up the window. "Why won't you?" Elena asks. "That's another one." She says, and we walk down the steps. "You got us. Ok? It's not like I can go anywhere. The least you can do is tell me what you want with us." Elena says, and the womam walks over to the books on the table. "I personally want nothing. I'm just a Delivery Service." She says. "Delivery to who? Elijah?" I ask, and she gives a small laugh, going through the books. "Ten points to the Eavesdroppers." She says, and we walk closer to her. "Who is he? Is he a Vampire?" Elena asks. "He's one of the Vampires. The Originals." She says. "What do you mean, the Originals? Like, the First Vampires?" I ask. "Again with the questions. Haven't the Salvatores been teaching you two your Vampire History?" She asks. "So, you know Stefan and Damon?" Elena asks. "I know of them. A hundred years back, a friend of mine tried to set me up with Stefan. She said he was one of the Good Ones. I'm more of a sucker for the Bad Boys, though, but I digress." She says. "Who are the Originals?" Elena asks, stepping closer, and she turns around, looking at us, as we have our arms crossed. "Trevor and I have been running for five hundred years. We're tired. We want it over. We're using you to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess." She says, and I stop closer. "But why us?" I ask. "Because you two are Petrova Doppelgangers. You're the key to breaking the Curse." She says. "Curse? The Sun and the Moon Curse?" Elena asks, and the woman rolls her eyes. "Ohh. You do know your History." She says, nodding. "What do you mean we're the key?" I ask, stepping in front of her. "The Moonstone is what breaks the Curse." I say. "No. The Moonstone is what binds the Curse. Sacrifice is what breaks it." She says. "Sacrifice?" Elena asks. "The blood of the Doppelgangers. You two are the Doppelgangers. Which means in order to break the Curse, you two are the ones that have to die." She says, and Elena and I both gasp.
