I'm at Dad's apartment in my training clothes, punching and kicking a punching bag, wearing black gloves and hear footsteps, and see Fad walk in. "You're gonna put a hole in that thing." He says and I grunt, kicking it hard with my right foot. "Wanna talk about it?" He asks. "Nothing to talk about." I say and punch again.

"So, uh, what's got you all worked up?" Dad asks. "I didn't really sleep last night." I say and grunt again. "Yeah, me neither." He says and I kick with my left foot. "Probably something to do with dying." He says and I stop, breathing heavily. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine." He says, holding the punching bag and I punch with my right hand. "I think the ring, however, is running low on batteries." He says as I punch with my left hand. "Yeah, its another reason why Jeremy has to get out of town. If those rings have a shelf life, he is not protected, neither are you." I say and kick the punching bag with all my strength, stepping back and he groans, and I walk forward. "You okay?" I ask. "Yeah. Nice, nice. You're getting stronger." He says and I take my gloves off. "I'm just channeling frustration. I need coffee." I say and turn around and walk over to the coffee machine, and throw my gloves down, and pour myself some coffee with my right hand. "Seems Damon's compulsion worked, Jeremy was packing when I left the house, going on about his new school in Denver." He says. "Have you, um.. talked to Damon today?" I ask, picking up my cup with my right hand after setting the pot back in the machine, looking at him. "No, why?" He asks. "No reason." I say and sip my coffee.

It's nighttime as I arrive to the Founder's Hall with Dad and Damon. "I thought Stefan saved your life." Dad says. "He did." Damon says. "And now he is willing to risk it just to see how far he can push Klaus?" Dad asks. "It seems so." I say. "So is his Humanity on or off?" Dad asks. "I wouls think there is another option at play, a dimmer switch, which is a huge problem." Damon says as we look at him and stop walking. "Why?" Dad asks. "Because I can't predict how far he is willing to go until someone gets killed." Damon says. "So, suddenly you care who lives or dies?" Dad asks. "I have a small list." Damon says and Dad scoffs. "Talk about Humanity dimmer switch." He says. "Screw you." Damon says and we look up at the building, and Dad sighs. "Can't a Council meeting ever just be a Council meeting?" He asks and they look at me. "And if anyone asks, I know nothing of the truth about this party." I say and we walk inside.

I'm with Dad as we're looking at a model of the Wickery Bridge restoration project and see Damon walk over to us. "That's the bridge where Elena, Adam and Jeremy's parents died in the car accident." He says. "Something is up with her. Elena. Something more than usual. You know what it is?" Dad asks. "Well I'm sure it starts with a Stef and ends with an an. I'm gonna get a drink, write a check and then we're out?" Damon asks and downs his drink that's in his right hand, and walks off, and a woman with brunette hair walks over to us, smiling. "Alaric Saltzman, miracle patient." She says and Dad smiles back. "Dr. Fell." He says and they both look at me. "Dr. Fell, meet my son, Adam." He says and I look at her, smiling. "Hi." I say and we shake hands and release, and she looks back at Dad. "I'm glad to see you're still alive. A part of me thought you would have dropped dead in your sleep." She says and looks at me. "He's really got a guardian angel or something, your father does. He's a very lucky man." She says. "I'm quite aware of his unique health." I say and she looks back at him. "I guess I have nine lives." Dad says. "Not a bad thing to have in a town with a vampire problem." She says and winks at me. "Don't worry. I can keep a secret." She says and I give a small laugh. "I'm-- I'm sorry? Are you on the Founders' Council?" Dad asks and she nods. "I'm a Fell, I come from a long line of founders, may they rest in peace." She says and looks at the model. "I hate that bridge. My senior prom date dumped me on this bridge." She says. "Oh yeah? Did you throw him over it?" I ask and she laughs. "No. But I should have. I've been holding a grudge ever since." She says and we all laugh. "Where did your friend go? I'm supposed to hit him up for some money for the fundraiser." She says, looking around. "Well, you should. He's loaded." Dad says. "He's in good company. Some British guy just pledged to match every dollar we raise." She says and Dad and I look at each other. "What do you mean, some british guy?" He asks.

I'm walking with Dad and we see Dr. Fell arguing with some guy in a trenchcoat, and she starts to walk off, and he grabs her right wrist, and she shoves him backwards. "Whoa! Hey. Everything all right here?" Dad asks. "Everything's fine." The man says, looking at him. "It didn't look fine." I say and cross my arms at him, and he chuckles, looking at Dr. Fell and back to Dad. "You might want to get to know her before you become her white knight. She's kind of a psycho case." He says and Dad laughs. "You're that guy, aren't you? The one begging to have his teeth kicked in." Dad says. "Take it from me man, life's too short." The man says and looks at Dr. Fell and back to Dad. "Just go away, Brian." She says as Brian looks at her and he walks off. "Behold.. my senior prom date." She says. "Well, you definitely should have throw him over the bridge." I say and we all laugh and she looks at us. "Unfortunately, I have to work with him. He is on the Council, he's the medical examiner. The guy who signs his name under Cause of Death: animal attack." She says and I fake gasp. "So that's who that is." I say. "I get it." Dad says and her phone vibrates, and she pulls it out of her purse with her right hand, checking it. "Duty calls. Thanks for the hero moment." She says, smiling at Dad and he smiles back. "Anytime." He says and she walks off. "She's pretty. And you can cook. Woman love a man who can cook. Especially doctors." I say and smile at him and he chuckles. "Shut up." He says and I laugh.

I'm in the passenger seat of Stefan's car after he kidnapped me. "What are you doing, Stefan?" I ask and my phone rings, and I pull it out of my right pocket, and I see it's Damon, and he takes it with his left hand. "Hello, Damon. He's a little busy right now. Making my next move. Let me ask you something. What's Klaus gonna do if he can't make anymore Hybrids?" Stefan asks and we look at each other. "What?" I ask and he hangs up, and throws my phone out the window. "What the hell are you doing? Stefan, let me out of this car. Do you hear me? Stefan, let me out of the car!" I exclaim and shake my head, and look forward, sighing.

"So, what's the plan, Stefan? What's the big move you're making?" I ask, looking at him, and he looks at me. "I took Klaus' family to make him suffer. I'm not going to let him make himself a new one." He says, looking forward. I look forward and back to him. "So, then what are you going to do, huh? Are you going to lock me in some cave and keep me hostage?" I ask. "Maybe, I'll just turn you into a vampire." He says, looking at me. "Stop the car, Stefan!" I exclaim, and he looks forward. "Stop the car, Stefan!" I yell and he looks at me, and forward, and pulls his phone out of his right pocket, and puts it on speaker. "Stefan, how nice to hear your voice." Klaus says. "Tell your hybrids to get out of town, Klaus." Stefan says. "Well that's not gonna happen until I get my coffins back." Klaus says. "Ok, well then I'm gonna drive your blood source off Wickery Bridge." Stefan says and I look at him. "I don't believe you, Stefan. You won't kill him." Klaus says and Stefan bites his right wrist, and forces his blood down my throat, as I hold his wrist. "No! No! No!" I exclaim, sputtering. "What are you doing?" I ask. "What's going on?" Klaus asks. "I just fed him my blood. No more hybrids if he's a vampire." Stefan says. "You won't do it." Klaus says. "Really? Try me, because your coffins are next to go. Say goodbye to your family Klaus." Stefan says and speeds up, "Stefan, slow down. Stefan, stop it!" I yell. "Fine. I'll send them away. You win." Klaus says. "Stefan!" I yell and he speeds up faster. "Stefan! Stefan, stop! Klaus!" I yell. "Stop the car, Stefan!" Klaus yells and Stefan pushes on the brakes as we're on the bridge, as I scream and the car stops. I gasp and breathe heavily, looking forward, and turn to him. I open my door with my right hand, crying, and shut the door, beginning to walk off. "Get back in the car." He says. "Stay away from me." I say. "Adam, get in the car!" He exclaims and I stop, and look at him, as he's approaching me. "How could you?! My parents died going over this bridge. I almost died. You knew that. You're the one who saved me and Elena." I say, crying harder. "Look, he had to believe that I would do it, all right? Your fear sold it." He says. "Well, what if it hadn't?" I ask. "He did." I say. "Well, what if he hadn't?!" I exclaim. "He did, Adam! He backed down! He has a weakness! If I know his weakness, I can destroy him!" He yells. "After everything, that's what mattered, destroying Klaus?" I ask and turn around, walking off some. "Destroying Klaus is all I've left." He says and I turn around, facing him. "You had Elena and I!" I exclaim and he shakes his head. "I lost you both the minute I left town with him. You just haven't let yourselves admit that yet." He says. "Is that what you're doing? Trying to make me hate you? Because I could never hate you. No matter how fucking crazy you are." I say. "I don't really care what you think about me any more, Adam." He says and turns around, and walks over to his car, opens his door with his left hand, gets in and shuts it, and drives past me.
