XYRIEL

"This is Firedrill by Melanie Martinez."

I said as I sat on the stool—Albert was beside me as he was the one who's going to play the piano while Bernard was playing the Harp.

Uh, mm, mm, mm,
Uh, uh, mm, mm, uh, uh,

I've never fit into any category, always deemed an outcast,
Since I was in Sunday school and all the cook kids said I was wierd,

It's exactly the same, they say: "Why do you dress that way?
Why do you act that way?
Why aren't you just like me?

I looked at all those students who were popular and always hyprocite—They looked away when I sang that part.

So is that what you really wanna say to me?
You playin' games with me
Telling me you're for my kind' still, you abandon me,

Calling me words I'm not, painting a picture that's false,

I realized that the twins are standing down the stage—staring right at me with a smile on their face.

You must not know my heart, but, I know it isn't your fault,
You live in the world in your clutch,
You don't get out very much,

Living in a fake world, filled with facades and chaotic behaviour,

You pull the lever for fun, yell 'fire' then you just run

I stood up—as I kick the stool away from me as I hold the mic tightly and there—I sing my heart out.

Fire drill, What would happen if a nuke just hit,
Would you say 'bye' to your family? Would you post about it?

Fire drill, if it all went up in flames one day,
Would you give your mom a hug before your house burned away?

All of the other member of the club was there—They are shock to see me like this.

It kills, I wish the best for you,
And you, think I ignore you too, but
Really, I'm tryna lived my own life,
Be present more, and so should you,
It's alright to,

Cryin' inside,
Cause nothing I say ever come out right,
We're on the same side,
If I'm honest with you, you just run and hide,

I'm bad at public speaking,
But I'm speaking now so hear me out (shut up!)
I personally believe that everyone is fully capable
Of more than what they're doing, All of the bullying,
All of the screwing around with people they don't really know, oh, (Blah, Blah, Blah)

I can feel that everyone—especially those who bullies other—feel guilty about it as they shrugged off.

Eating a hate soufflé, and an angry bitter sorbet,
All' cause you were bored one day,
Losing your wits and your grace,

Fire drill, What would happen if a nuke just hit,
Would you say 'bye' to your family? Would you post about it?

Fire drill, if it all went up in flames one day,
Would you give your mom a hug before your house burned away?

It kills, I wish the best for you,
And you, think I ignore you too, but
Really, I'm tryna lived my own life,
Be present more, and so should you,
It's alright to,

I pass the mic to Albert who grip it tightly as we change position—I was the one who's playing the piano while he sing as he sit on his wheelchair.

I am not the government
I am not the fucked up men
I am not part of anything that is hateful,

Love is seeping out my pores, I don't hold anger anymore
Even for people who hurt and betray me (okay)

I am not the government
I am not the fucked up men
I am not part of anything that is hateful

Love is seeping out my pores, I don't hold anger anymore
Even for people who hurt and betray me

Then—the three of us here, Bernard, Albert and I decided to sing the last part.

Fire drill, What would happen if a nuke just hit,
Would you say 'bye' to your family? Would you post about it?

Fire drill, if it all went up in flames one day,
Would you give your mom a hug before your house burned away?

And you, think I ignore you too, but
Really, I'm tryna lived my own life,
Be present more, and so should you,
It's alright to,

"I'm getting out of here."

Albert said as he put the mic down as he move himself away from the stage—with his wheelchair.

Everyone was clapping as we got down—Autumn and Winter rush toward my way as they kissed me on the cheeks.

"I love you Xyriel."

Autumn whispered as I nodded my head shyly—I was startled when I noticed that Mr.Vendetta was clapping his hand as he smile at me.

"Welcome to the family."

He simply said with a smile as he assist his wife as they walked away.

"Care to explain what happened to you love?"

Winter smirked at me as I turn flustered once again.
