Mario: So basically, each person in this group will say one bizarre holiday we know of. When someone says a holiday, he or she gets to pick the next person.
Toadette: It would be unfair if someone is last though.
Bowser: Life ain’t fair, you crybaby!
Toadette: *crawls under her chair and sobs*
Mario: Anyways, I wanna correct Toad about something.
Toad: What?
Mario: Name-Changing Day, aka Get A Different Name Day, is actually on February 13!
Toad: And how am I involved in this?
Peach: Hun, remember about seven months ago when you said it was Name-Changing Day?
Toad: Oh yeah…
Rosalina: Wow… I’ve been here for seven months already? Time flies, doesn’t it?
Luigi: And we started this book ten months ago.
Everyone: *moment of silence to appreciate the time spent on this book*
Toadette: I tricked you and wrote Name-Changing Day on your calendar so you would get to be Adot for one more day! *giggles*
Toad: WHY YOU LITTLE… Wait, we’re getting off the subject! Mario, pick the next person.
Mario: Umm… King Boo!
King Boo: Oh, this one is easy.
Everyone: What?
King Boo: January 16 is National Nothing Day. *smiles* My favorite! Well, I choose Birdo to go next.
Birdo: Kk! March 26 is Make Up Your Own Holiday Day!
Mario: What holiday would you make up?
Birdo: Tumblr Girl Day of course!
Toad: *eyes become glittery purple* Omg, that’s my totes fave holiday of all! *eyes become normal again* Wait, what just happened?
Daisy: *sighs* Anyways… Moving on…
Birdo: Dai, you can go next!
Daisy: Ok then. Hairstyle Appreciation Day is on April 30.
Pauline: That seems awfully girly of you to say… Ahem-hem.
Daisy: Well, I’m appreciating my awesome hairstyle now and acknowledging the long hair I had a very long time ago. *punches Pauline*
Pauline: You didn’t have to punch me!
Daisy: But, I wanted to. Anyways Yoshi, you go next.
Yoshi: Okey-dokey. December 13 is ICE…. CREAMM… ICE… CHOCOLATE… CREAM… DIPPINDDOTS… *collapses from all the food words*
Luigi: You mean… Ice Cream Day? Umm, whatever.
Yoshi: *sits up* Toad next! ICE… CREAAM… POPSICLLLLE.
Toad: March 5 is Multiple Personality Day! I can switch personalities and have a good excuse for doing so!
Everyone: Ugh…
Toad: It’s Luigi’s turn.
Luigi: September 5 is Cheese Pizza Day. Cheese is the simplest pizza flavor and… I love pizza!
Mario: Me too!!!
Luigi: Toadette, it’s your turn.
Toadette: October 28 is Plush Animal Lover’s Day! I can’t wait! Well, I choose Peach to go next.
Peach: June 23 is National Pink Day. I wear lots of pink on that day each year.
King Boo: Umm… You always wear lots of pink.
Peach: Yes hun, I know I do. Wario, it’s your turn.
Wario: APRIL 19 IS NATIONAL GARLIC DAY!!! And DK’s next.
Donkey Kong/Diddy Kong: Which DK?
Mario: Donkey Kong is DK. Diddy Kong is Diddy.
Diddy Kong: Oh.
Donkey Kong: April 7 is World Health Day!
Toad: Wow. I’m surprised that that doesn’t involve bananas.
Donkey Kong: Oh, but it does! Bananas are healthy and everyone should love them!
Everyone: *groans*
Donkey Kong: Rosalina, you’re next.
Rosalina: Hmm… May 2 is Space Day. And Dry Bones is next.
Dry Bones: January 3 is Humiliation Day. I know this because it’s the best day to humiliate Koopa Troopa! And I challenge him to be next since I’m sure he’ll cry because I chose that bizarre holiday.
Koopa Troopa: Oh really now? Well, March 8 is Be Nasty Day. I can be nasty to Dry Bones and get away with it!
Dry Bones: Unless before that day, I humiliate you so much that you crawl into your shell and never come back out!
Koopa Troopa: Why would you be able to humiliate anyone if no one can take you seriously?
Koopa Troopa/Dry Bones: *start bickering*
Everyone else: *patiently waits for Koopa Troopa and Dry Bones to stop bickering*
*one hour later*
Koopa Troopa: Bowser’s turn.
Bowser: September 2 is NATIONAL BEHEADING DAY! I look forward to beheading Mario this year!
Peach: Please don’t say that! This book is rated G.
Bowser: I don’t care. And it’s Waluigi’s turn.
Waluigi: May 16 is Wear Purple For Peace Day!
King Boo: You’re not peaceful though.
Waluigi: You’re such a killjoy. And Diddy’s next.
Diddy Kong: Love A Tree Day is May 15, so it’s the day before the holiday that Waluigi said. I like it because of banana trees!
Pauline: And now, it’s my turn. September 22 is Business Women’s Day and it’s a great time for me to celebrate my success in being the CEO of my fabulous business.
Peach: Oh, I could hear the sarcasm!
Pauline: Then, you must be hearing things. Might wanna go to the mental hospital, darling!
Peach: YOU should be at the mental hospital! Your only friends are toys!
Mario: Both of you-
Peach/Pauline: *start bickering*
Toad: *sighs* Is it just me or do bicker sessions happen too much in our group?
No Toad, it isn't just you! Well this chapter was a decent length. I hope you found it funny and learned lots of cool new holidays!
