Adeline's P.O.V

Two days later, things got worse. I went to school to see a bunch of flyers everywhere. I looked at the flyer and groaned a little. I knew Archie would do something into his own hands. I managed to find Archie who was by his locker. I punched his arm making him look at me.

"Adeline," He said in surprise.

"Don't you Adeline me. Archie, what the hell is this?" I asked.

"Just a small group that'll help out," Archie told me.

"Archie, you're an idiot for even doing this," I said.

"Adeline, as your older brother and the only son of our dad, it's my job to protect you both," Archie told me.

"Arch, don't you think you're creating a bigger target on our backs for creating this?" I asked him.

"Adeline, I promise nothing will hurt you. Not even the black hood," Archie said. I sighed before walking away from him.

I got a call from Sweet Pea making me look around. I answered the phone as I walked outside. I sat on a table so I was alone when I talked to him.

"Hey," I said.

"Hi. I was wondering if you want to go down to the Quarry with me and some of my friends?" Sweet Pea asked me.

"Sweet Pea, I love to but with this whole Black Hood thing going on, I really don't want to go anywhere," I told him.

"I understand."

"Thank you for understanding. I don't know what I'd do without you," I said.

"And I don't know what I'd do without you. You've changed my life. Have I ever told you that?" Sweet Pea asked me.

"All the time. I love you," I tell him.

"I love you too. I'll see you later beautiful," He told me.

"Bye, handsome," I smiled before hanging up.

"So, little Andrews, was that your boyfriend on the phone?" I heard Cheryl asked me. I looked over at her.

"Yes," I said.

"I don't understand why you're with him when you have your brother to set you up with some guys who are way hotter," Cheryl told me.

"He's very loyal to me and I'm loyal to him," I reminded Cheryl.

"I see. Anyway, I'll see you later," Cheryl smiled at me.

"Bye, Cheryl," I waved before she walked away.

I looked back down at my phone before walking back inside the school.
