Adeline's P.O.V

The school's election was coming up and I had decided to run for it. If I can't help the town, then I would help my generation take a better path. I had created posters and everything.

I started to post my posters around school until I felt arms around my waist. I looked up and smiled at Sweet Pea. 

"Hi cutie," I said.

"You're running for student body president?" He asked me. 

"Yes I am," I told him.

"Well, do you need help?" Sweet Pea asked.

"I'm good. Ethel's gonna be my vice president once I ask her. However, I do need help on getting those votes," I told him.

"Whatever you need, you got it," Sweet Pea told me before giving me a kiss. During lunch, we sat with Toni and Fangs. 

"So, Sweet Pea told us that you're going for student body president," Fangs said. 

"I am," I told them.

"You're the youngest person to even run. Do you have a vice president?" Toni asked me.

"I was gonna ask Ethel Muggs later today," I told her. 

"Well we're all behind you on this, Adeline," Toni said.

"Thanks guys."

I looked over to see Ethel talking to Veronica. The next thing I knew, I saw her splash a pink milkshake at her. I let out a small laugh before covering my mouth. Sweet Pea, Toni, and Fangs laughed a little as we saw Veronica leave the cafeteria.

At home, I was doing my homework until Sweet Pea texted me. I looked down at my phone to see the text. 

From My Serpent <3:

Babe, did you hear Veronica punched Reggie in the face?

To My Serpent <3:

She did what?!

From My Serpent <3:

Yeah. Everyone's talking about it! It's hilarious! 

I shook my head before tossing my phone onto my bed. I leaned back as I looked over at the notebook again. Part of me wanted to read it but the other part of me didn't want to. I shrugged it off before focusing on my homework again.
