Fifty Four

Adeline's P.O.V

I stayed in my room, shaking from fear. I heard a knock on the door making me look over. I saw Archie there in the doorway.

"Archie?" I asked.

"We have to go. Now," Archie told me.

"Where?" I asked.

"Police station. Let's go!" Archie said.

We hurried over where I saw a large crowd of people. I pushed through to get to Sweet Pea. I managed to get through but bumped into FP.

"Need help?" I asked.

"Yes!"

I helped move people away until I saw Archie and Reggie fall onto the floor. I looked over at them until I heard a loud gunshot. I felt FP cover me for protection. I heard a woman let out a loud scream as everyone looked around. I looked over at Fangs who had blood seeping through his stomach.

"Get help!" I called out. Everyone was running away while the serpents were trying to save Fangs. I looked back at Reggie who was still on the floor with Archie.

"Get help!" Jughead screamed. I looked back at Reggie and Archie as I noticed a gun nearby. I stared in shock before everyone went back into chaos.

Archie's P.O.V

I looked over at Reggie before looking at Adeline. I quickly got up before pulling Adeline away.

"Archie?" She asked in shock.

"Come on," I said before helping her out of the crowd. I made it the area where I told the Bulldogs to meet up at.

"Where the hell is Reggie?" I asked.

"I thought he was with you," Kevin said.

"We got separated when the fight broke out. Guys, Reggie had a gun. He didn't shoot Fangs, though. I tackled him before he could," I told them.

"Why would Reggie have a gun?" Kevin asked.

"Who gave him a gun to begin with?" Adeline asked. I knew instantly on who gave him the gun.

"I can guess who put the idea in his head. But right now, we just gotta find him. Some of the Serpents saw Reggie with the gun.They're gonna go after him. Kev, Moose, Adeline, we'll head to Reggie's house. Everyone else, fan out, call if you find him," I told everyone before grabbing my little sister's hand and running off with Kevin and Moose.
