Adeline's P.O.V
Sweet Pea took me home afterwards. I walked inside but then hear a crash from Archie's little garage area. I walked over to the shed in a hurry. I opened the door to see Archie with some guy in a suit.
"Archie? What the hell is going on?" I asked him.
"Adeline," Archie said standing up.
"Who's that?" I asked staring at the man next to Archie.
"Arthur Adams," The man said.
"Well Mr. Arthur Adams, it's late at night and I'm sure that whatever you both were discussing about can wait till tomorrow morning," I say before crossing my arms.
"Alright. Good night to you both," Arthur said before walking out. I looked over to Archie who looked nervous all of a sudden.
"What the hell did you get yourself into now?" I asked him.
"Adeline, it's hard to explain and I'm not sure how you'll take it," He told me.
"Seriously? Do you not remember the events that happened before the Black Hood?" I asked him.
"Look if I tell you, you have to keep this between only us," Archie said.
"Fine," I said.
"Sit down first," Archie told me. I sat down before looking up at him.
After Archie explained to me about Arthur Adams in the FBI and how they planned on taking the Lodge family down, I had mixed emotions. I stared up at my older brother in disappointment and annoyance.
"I don't know what's worst. You having a romantic relationship with Ms. Grundy or the fact that you're secretly working with the FBI and working with the Lodge family at the same time," I told him.
"Adeline, please help me," Archie said. I groaned a little loudly.
"Fine. What does he want you to do now?" I asked.
"He wants me to find out if Mr. Lodge killed a man or not," Archie said.
"Oh my god. Do you really think Mr. Lodge is capable of murdering someone?" I asked Archie.
"I'm not sure," Archie said.
"Well I really don't want to be part of this drama-"
"I know. That's why I made sure that you nor dad was anywhere near this," Archie told me.
"Look, if there's something you want me to find out, I'll do my best to help. But other than that, I'm not going to be part of this," I told him.
"Okay," Archie said.
"Can we go inside now? I'm cold," I told him.
"Yeah. Come on," Archie said before we went back inside the house.

I walked to school alone today. Once I made it to school, I saw Reggie by my locker. I stared in confusion as I walked over to him.
"What are you doing by my locker?" I asked.
"Just wanted to say hi. Haven't seen you in a while," Reggie told me.
"Well you keep giving me reasons to be mad at you," I told him.
"Look, I want to say I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?" Reggie asked me. He gave me puppy dog eyes making me sigh in defeat.
"I hate it when you do that," I said, shaking my head at him.
"So you do forgive me," Reggie said.
"Yes, Reggie. I do," I said before leaning against the lockers.
"Cool. Anyway, I have something for you," Reggie told me.
"What?" I asked.
"Think of it as an I'm-sorry-gift," Reggie said before reaching into his backpack. He pulled out a book for me, making me smile at him.
"Thank you, Reggie," I said.
"Look, I gotta go but I'll see you later," Reggie said before walking off. I looked back at him before opening my locker to put the book away.
