I had been standing outside of my parents house for a solid five minutes contemplating if this really was a good idea or if it was even worth trying. The stranger at the coffee shop that I now knew was named Tae had somehow with just a ten minute conversation convinced me to do something I hadn't had the guts to all my life. Now I stood here outside the house I knew all too well terrified and shaking in fear.

At some point dark clouds had covered the bright sun and raindrops had started falling from the dark sky. I guess it's now or never to somehow talk to my parents.

I rang the door bell with my heart in my hands and a nervous shaking body full of regret.

The door swung open, there stood my mom with a surprised look on her face.

"Carmen honey what are you doing here? Is Jimin with you?" She asked excited looking past me looking for a Jimin who wasn't here.

"No, I just came to talk" I responded quietly looking at my mother wanting her to make eye contact with me, but she never did.

"Sure, get inside" she said grabbing my arm and pulling me into the house.

I stumbled into the house where the smell of cigarettes and cleaning products hit me. Like my mother always was. She tried to keep a facade of a perfect family up with cleaning the house all day long, and smoking all day long to hid the fact that she hated all of it.

My dad laid on the couch looking at the tv. I could tell he wasn't looking at anything too interesting. When his eyes meet mine he looked surprised and quite happy. He sat up from his previous laying position with a smile on his face.

"Hi Carmen, I didn't expect you here today" he said with a happy tone in his voice, something that surprised me.

"Sit down honey so we can talk" my mom said walking up besides me while gesturing me to sit down. I nodded and sat down besides my dad whiles my mother sat down beside me. They both looked at me with wide eyes that only made me more nervous.

"Well" I started not knowing what to say. Everything I had prepared to say had just left my head and I was now blank.

"Things with me and Jimin, it's not going so well" I confessed with nerves going crazy in my body. I had my eyes on the floor scared of how my parents face would look when I confessed what I felt.

My mother let out a sigh and stood up with an annoyed feeling all over her.

"In What way?" My dad asked as caring as he could.

"Well we're just fighting all the time" I said looking at my dad who looked sad that somehow made me feel better.

"And he's just in his room all the time, so we don't talk a lot" I said clinging on to the feeling of understanding my dad was giving me with just his facial expression.

"Well you want to know why" my mother said in a bitchy tone making my wonderful bubble crack. I turned my head towards her. She was standing leaning against the wall a few meter away from me with a cigarette in between her fingers.

"You're always negative, you never do anything and you haven't given the boy a chance" my mother spat at me. It was just what I expected from her so I didn't even feel sad or upset by her words.

I stood up from the couch with both my dad and my mothers eyes on me.

"It's not like he's with another girl, you have him all to yourself" my mother commented making me want to yell out everything Jimin had done. Everything from taking Heater home, letting her stay for weeks and taking her on the vacation. But I knew that would get him in trouble and it wouldn't help out on how things are going between us right now.

"You just don't understand. You don't want happiness for me! You just want jimins parents money and to fill your want for others to see you!" I yelled at my mother who stood there with a stone cold face.

"You can't even try to understand another person, not even your own daughter! I hate my life and I hate having you in it!" I yelled at her with tears overflowing in my eyes.

"Get out" my mother said sternly pointing to the door. My vision was blurred by all the tears but even with that I made my way to the door as quickly as I could. I could hear my father say my name in disbelief from behind me. He was the only one who tried to understand me, but even when he tried he wasn't able to try hard enough. Even he was scared of my mother.

The rain was now pouring as I stumbled outside with tears streaming down my face. I looked up and there stood a very familiar car. I just stood there crying for a couple of seconds before Jimin stepped out of the black car. The rain was quick to soak both his hair and his gray sweater. I looked at him with tearful eyes shaking my head and all he did was just walk towards me with a fast speed. When he got close enough he pulled me into a tight hug and I didn't even hesitate to hug him back. His hand was on my back and his other hand on the back head as he held me tight against his warm body. It was all I needed a warm hug that could say it would all be ok without any words needed to be exchanged between us two.
