Jimin P.O.V

Carmen was probably confused to what was going on between us. From the compliments from me, the hug and least but most importantly the touching. I loved how innocent she is and how timid she became when I was close to her. I knew I didn't want to marry her or anyone for that matter but I knew that I liked her, a lot. What I like most about Carmen is how much she hates me but also how much she tries to pretend she wasn't flustered by me.

I did feel bad for her when her parents yelled at her. I know how she feels. My parents didn't understand either when I told them I couldn't be with Carmen and definitely not spend my life with her. We're just not meant to be together.

After the car ride home from Carmen's parents house we made it home. Nothing more was said that night and we both went straight to sleep. I didn't sleep much that night. It wasn't like I liked Carmen in a romantic way but I catch myself thinking about her way too much. Both during the night and day. It's just how she smiled when she eats breakfast seeing the sun is out. The way she laughs at the tv while she's watching her favorite shows. If she really had gotten the chance to find someone to marry, her husband would be the luckiest man alive. Maybe I was a bit confused to what I was feeling when I saw, heard or thought of her. Whatever it is I'm feeling, I should figure it out during the next two months. It's only two months to the weeding.

The next morning I made breakfast for me and Carmen. During that breakfast she had talked about how nice the weather had been and how she wanted to go down to the park. During that conversation I had somehow gotten myself into the idea of going with her.

After the breakfast we both walked down to the park. Carmen was too busy dancing around in the streets in the sunlight, she didn't notice that I once again was lost in admiring her. Something about her reminded me of the times when we were little. When all we did was go for long rides on our bikes to buy ice cream in the summer. All of our sleepovers and all the long summer nights when we laid late at night looking at the stars. All of that was now lost in the life of adulthood and the constant thoughts about the future. How I missed those times. Being back with Carmen made me feel like we were kids again. Even if Carmen hated me most of the times, I loved these moments when we didn't say anything and we only lived in the moment we were spending with each other.

We made it to the park where we strolled down looking at all the different people. Some where out on their morning jog and some just laying in the sun underneath the trees.

Carmen walked half a meter ahead of me deep in her own thoughts but that quickly changed.

"Carmen!" A unfamiliar voice said behind us. Carmen turned confused and I did as well. A guy our age came running up to us with a smile on his face.

"Tae!" Carmen squealed. I continued to look at them both confused.

"How did it go with your parents?" He asked as Carmen pulled him into a hug with a wide smile on her face. I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest feeling an odd feeling of being annoyed over the situation.

"Not good. We got into a huge fight" Carmen told so openly, something that surprised me. I didn't know she had any friends or any guy friends for that matter.

"Oh I'm so sorry about that. At least they know how you feel" the guy Tae said with a worried but faint smile on his face.

"I guess I'm kind of over it now. I hope we can just move on form it now" Carmen said with a light laugh at the end of her sentence. I looked at them feeling invincible whiles standing between  these apparent besties. I cleared my throat wanting them both to notice that I actually stood right in the middle of their life updates.

Carmen looked at me with wide eyes shaking her head with a laugh.

"Sorry, this is Jimin, the guy I told you about, the one I'm marrying" Carmen explained representing me. It felt oddly good when she said she was marrying me. I looked at the guy Tae with burning eyes and a smug look.

"Oh, that's him" Tae said like I was some bad guy. My confidence quickly disappeared.

"Well I got to go I have lots of things to do today" The guy explained fast.

"I will see you around Carmen. Maybe we could go out and eat or catch a movie at some point" the guy said with a smile and Carmen responded with an excited:

"Sure, that would be great" before the guy jogged away.

I turned to Carmen with an annoyed look.

"How do you know that guy?" I asked looking at the guy jogging away.

"I meet him at a coffee shop when I ran away and out of the apartment yesterday" she explained. I looked at the guy as he ran further and further away.

"What's the problem? He's only a friend. You're the one bring home girls" Carmen started to argue. when she was with other guys it was different. She didn't get jealous when I was with other girls but oddly I felt jealous when she was around other guys.

"I don't like that guy" I said simply looking back at Carmen who rolled her eyes at me. She only sighed and started walking away from me with her arms crossed over her chest. Just like that she probably hated me a little more than before.
