Chaper 34

As Sam worked on getting the man who would help us into Steve's car and Natasha helped with pretending to be an assassin I was a few miles away on stand by if anything went wrong.

I stayed on the roof top singing. "So am I wrong for thinking that we could be something for real?
Now am I wrong for trying to reach the things that I can't see?
But that's just how I feel, that's just how I feel
That's just how I feel trying to reach the things that..." a bomb explodes in the area they are in.

I produce my wings and fly to see Natasha running off as the winter soldier goes after her.

Natasha yells to the civilians as she tries to get away from the Winter Soldier "Get out of the way! Stay out of the way!" I'm to far to produce a shield for her. I try to fly faster.

suddenly she gets shot in the shoulder, she falls and looks around her, as the Winter Soldier comes up from behind to shoot her.

As soon as I'm ready to fight him Steve jumps in and attacks him, as they fight I take Natasha to a safer spot. "I'm sorry I don't have good water to heal you."

"Help steve." She points in the direction of Steve.

I look and the Winter Soldier takes Steve's shield and throws it at him but Steve manages to avoid being hit, I create water ropes and whip at Bucky. Then he moves and close and we're battling hand to hand combat until he punches me with his metal arm and I fly back.

After battling it out more the Winter Soldier's mask comes off. he looks around at Steve we learn the true identity of the Winter Soldier.

Steve Looks stunned. Unable to move "Bucky?"

Bucky looks back at steve "Who the hell is Bucky?"

as Bucky goes to shoot at Steve Sam flies in and kicks Bucky aside.

Bucky takes aim again but before he can shoot i see a grenade launcher Bucky dropped earlier and use it to shoot at Bucky who vanishes in the smoke of the explosion.

then the we hear sirens after which they are surrounded by HYDRA agents being led by Rumlow.

Brock "Drop the shield, Cap! On your knees! Get on your knees! Now! Get down! Get down!"

Steve holds his hands up and we follow suit. "Get on your knees! Down!" he kicks Steve's leg and Steve kneels down.

"Steve!!!" I yell and start to form ice shields to protect the three of them till I'm shocked from two soldiers on my sides with a temporary applicator that takes away my powers to control water.

"Don't move." Rumlow looks at the helicopter flying above them and warns Rollins who's holding Steve at gunpoint. "Put the gun down. Not here. Not here!" Rollins lowers his gun, the HYDRA agents then take Steve, Sam, Natasha and me into custody

As we are being escorted in a van.

Steve Looked at me "It was him. He looked right at me like he didn't even know me."

Sam "How's that even possible? It was like seventy years ago."

Steve Looked down "Zola. Bucky's whole unit was captured in '43, Zola experimented on him. Whatever he did helped Bucky survive the fall. They must have found him and..."

Natasha holding her arm " None of that's your fault, Steve."

Steve Looked at her quickly "Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky." The. He notices Natasha is bleeding from her shoulder and looks at the guards.

Sam Notices too. "We need to get a doctor here. We don't put pressure on that wound she's gonna bleed out here in the truck"

Suddenly one of the guards pulls out an electric rod and neutralizes the other guard and knocks him out, the guard is revealed to be Hill as she takes off her helmet. "Ah. That thing was squeezing my brain."

Sam looks at her in confusion; to Steve. "Who's this guy?"

We all smile.

A little while later ....

Hill has taken us to a secret facility, a man runs towards them; referring to Natasha's wound.

Maria speaks out "GSW. She's lost at least a pint."

Sam Chimes in "Maybe two"

Doctor "Let me take her."

Maria Looks to the doctor. "She'll want to see him first."

Hill takes them to Fury who's alive and lying in bed, we look at him in shock.
