Chapter 94

Val pilots the Commodore towards the battle on the city side of the bridge.

Skurge's battlion of Butchers surge forward.

We here a loud BOOM!

The Commodore is skidding across the bridge, crushing the front line of the Butchers, and knocking Skurge aside.

The impact triggers the party function, setting off party music and a fireworks.

Val emerges from the ship in full battle mode. Behind her, the Commodore fireworks provide a spectacular hero backdrop .

I shake my head at the showy display.

She draws DRAGONFANG and smiles as Butchers begin swarming towards her. She is where she needs to be.

As I fly up and rain ice down on some butchers I see the Asgardians huddle together, packed so tight that some begin to fall off the side of the bridge, loved ones grabbing them and pulling them back up. There's no hope. I use the water to help them up.

Heimdall fights off Butchers, but gets knocked down. Just as it looks like he's about to take a killing blow- BAM! The Butcher is blasted.

Korg steps into frame, holding the blaster! "Hey man. I'm Korg. This is Miek." Miek steps forward waving. "We're going to jump on that
spaceship and get out of here. Want to come?"

Heimdall is beyond confused.

Emerging from the thick low hanging fog is Loki. Resplendent in horns, arms spread wide, seeming to float towards the bridge like a mythical angel of mercy. "Your savior is here!" The fog dissipates around him, revealing that Loki's standing on the Grandmasters supercruiser.

I roll my eyes and smile. I fly to Loki. "I'm sorry Thor left you." I slap him. "But you deserved it." I hug him tight. "I'm glad you still care."

Loki is not alone. He's brought along all the prisoners from the Contest of Champions Thor fought hulk in. Armed with gladiator weapons.
The Ark slows to a stop at the middle of bridge.

I yell out "Everyone get on this ship!!!!"

Loki looks to me. "Spoken like a true queen."

"Come" I hold my hand out. "Heimdall needs us."

Loki holds on to me and we fly to Heimdall.

Heimdall looks to Loki and smiles "Welcome home. I saw you coming."

"Of course you did." Loki gives a shy smile.

We then join Heimdall and the gladiators in fending off Hela's encroaching minions.
