Chapter 15

I land not to far from them. The wind slapping my face harshly.

"Where is the Tesseract?" Thor yells clearly upset.

Loki laughs "I missed you too."

Thor yells "Do I look to be in a gaming mood?!"

Loki smirks "oh, you should thank me. With the Bifrost gone how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious Earth."

Thor drops MJÖLNIR, causing the mountain to quake. He picks up Loki. Although Thor is pissed for what he has done, a family is everything to a man or god. "I thought you dead."

"Did you mourn?" Loki looked at him.

"We all did. Our father..." Thor looked down.

"Your father. He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?" Loki not amused. "What of Avinna? Did he look for her?"

Thor lets go Loki, who walks away from Thor, causing an even bigger wedge between them.

"I looked for her! I tried. . . We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that?" Thor looks sincerely at Loki. I shed a tear.

Loki turns around. "I remember a shadow. Living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I was and should be king!"

Thor starts to get upset again. "So you take the world I love as recompense for your imagined slights. No, the Earth is under my protection, Loki."

Loki looks at Thor. "And you're doing a marvelous job with that. The humans slaughter each other in droves, while you idly threat. I mean to rule them. And why should I not?"

Thor replies "You think yourself above them."

Loki "Well, yes."

Thor then stands firm. "Then you miss the truth of ruling, brother. Throne would suit you ill."

Angrily, Loki shoves his brother to the side. He walks back up to the ledge. Turns around. "I've seen worlds you've never known about! I have grown, Odinson, in my exile! I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, and when I wield it..."

Thor confused "Who showed you this power? Who controls the would-be-king?"

Loki looks to me still hiding but sort of in sight. "I am a king!... Avinna come. Show Thor what a beautiful woman you've become."

I walk out my feet moving all on their own. I walk in front of Thor. "He-hello dear brother..." I smile but shed tears.

"What.... Avinna?" Thor touches my face.

I smile sadly.

Thor looks saddened and then upset. "What did you do? What are you planning?! Not Earth! Not here! You give up the Tesseract! And you let everyone go! She is your sister! You give up this poisonous dream! You come home. Both of you."

Home....

Loki walks next to me and pulls me into him. "Avinna is my bride. She was never our sister. She was left. Father didn't bother bringing her back. He had the power to do it. Besides.. I don't have it. You need the cube to bring me home, but I've sent it off I know not where."

Mjölnir flies back to his grasp. "You listen well, brother. I..." Thor is knocked off the mountain by Tony who tackles him in flight.

Loki brings me back to reality "I'm listening." He says sarcastically.

"We must stop them. For they may kill Thor!" I look to Loki.

"Then let them. He has done nothing but be in the way!" Loki looks the other way.

I gather the ice water around us and drag his ass to Thor and Tony. I hear Thor "Do not touch me again!"

I land us to hear tonys response. "Then don't take my stuff."

"You have no idea what you're dealing with." Thor tries to explain.

"Shakespeare in the park? Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?" Tony waves his hand and bows to Thor sarcastically.

"This is beyond you, metal man. Loki will face Asgardian justice!"

Tony serious now says "He gives up the Cube, he's all yours. Until then, stay out of my way... tourist." Tonys helmet clamps up and he walks away. In one quick move, Thor pulls Mjölnir, throws it, and knocks Tony clear across into a tree.

"Tony!"? I yell and run only to have Loki pull me back.

Loki watches in amusement. Thor raises his hand. Mjölnir flies back to his hand.

"Don't. Thor. Thor!" I watch as Thor swings the hammer, summoning a ray of energy.

Tony stands up and from his Hand blasters, a blast of energy knocks the mighty Thor on his ass.

Tony flies back up and knocks Thor into a tree. "Right back at you, bitch."

Thor, kneeling on the ground, pulls Mjölnir to his hand, raises it to the skies and pulls in lightning and thunder.

I watch in horror. "Loki let me go!" I struggle

Thor points the hammer at Tony and the outpouring of bolts lighting increases in intensity. Tony falls back.

Tony then fired away at Thor, making Thor fall to his knees. "How about that?"

I look to Loki. "Please if you ever cared about Thor. Let me go." then both Thor and Tony fly towards each other and meet in the middle and ascend up.

The two battle. Tony grasps Thor, elbowing him and smashing him into the side of a mountain.

Thor leaps off the mountain and takes Tony with him. Thor and Tony crash right back down, smashing down every tree possible.
Tony yanks Thor right up.

I need to help. I think quick. I turn to Loki. I head butt Loki causing him to stumble back. I sweep my leg under him causing him to fall and I bring the water and turn it to ice to wrap him in. "Your a Frost Giant. You won't freeze." I wink and kiss him on the cheek. I turn and use the water to fly me to Thor.

I see two figures. Thor falls back, losing his stance. Tony head butts Thor, with his gold-titanium alloy helmet. Thor... head butts him sends Tony across the forest.

Tony then boosters up and flies back at Thor, grabbing him by the arm and cape and swings him into another tree.

Thor looks up, ready. Thor runs with all his patience out the window. Ready to pounce...

I land as Steve does. Steve's shield ricochets off both Thor and Tony, stopping them. They look up and see steve and I standing on top of a fallen tree with the shield back in his hand.

"Hey! That's enough!" Steve jumps down and looks at Thor. "Now, I don't know what you plan on doing here."

"I've come here to put an end to Loki's schemes!" Thor argues.

"Then prove it! Put the hammer down." Steve reasons.

"Um, yeah, no! Bad call! He loves his hammer!" Tony wines.

I then see Thor back handing Tony with his beloved hammer. Thor, losing all tolerance with this sentential of liberty raises the hammer. "You want me to put the hammer down?"

"Thor..." I raise my hands.

Thor leaps higher into the air raising his hammer.

Steve crouches and holds up his shield.

I watch like it was in slow motion. Thor brings that hammer down onto the shield and a massive bright light reacts to the vibranium shield creating a massive shockwave.

Tony stands up, looking around like 'holy shit.' Lying right next to him is steve, who never takes his eye off Thor. And Avinna laying on the floor her dress shredded. And cuts all over her body. Thor looks at both men. "You've made me hurt her!"

Steve looks to Thor "Are we done here? Look what happens to those who don't listen." Tony runs and checks my vitals.

"It hurts..." I wheeze.

Thor knees next to me. "I'm so sorry Avinna. I promise. I'll fix this."

"These are good men. They mean no harm. Do not hate Loki. Do not hurt him. Please." I shed a tear.

"Her vitals are dropping. Nat bring the jet!" Tony yells.

"Alright shield man. I'll put it down for Avinna. But I will not leave without Loki. So I will come with." Thor reasoned.

Steve nodded.
