Chapter 67

Under an overpass Sam in the back left side, Bucky on the right side and me in the passenger seat in the car while Steve speaks to sharon.

"So... you and Steve huh?" Bucky Looks at me with knowing eyes. I turn around putting my knees under me facing the boys.

"Mmmmmhmmmm been together since we first chased you back then." I look at him with eyes that challenge him to keep talking.

Sam clears his throat. "Sooooo... Any more juicy stuff on Steve?" He looks at Bucky.

Bucky just stares at him stupidly. "Steve could kills us both. You know that right?"

Sam Smiles "yeah but knowing his moral compass I doubt that."

"Yeah but he has a bad ass girlfriend with freaky powers that could put us in eternal slumber." He thumbs to me.

I laugh and I look over to see Steve look at me then away.

I frown.

"You don't like her do you?" Sam asks me.

"It's not that.... it's more so what she is and how she came into our lives..." I look down. "And the cherry on top ... she's related to his first love." I look at Bucky. "I can't compete in these conditions. To much crazy madness going on."

Bucky nods.

"You have amazing hearing... what are they saying?" Sam asks me.

"Now that." I point to him. "I can do." I focus.
"Sharon speaking , ' Not sure you understand the concept of a getaway car?."

"I agree." Sam butts in. Earning a shhhh by me.

"Steve says it's low profile. And she says Good, because this stuff tends to draw a crowd." We look over to see her opening the trunk of her car.

Bucky Then hits my seat bring me back to reality in the getaway car. "Can you move your seat up?"

"Shhh No." I roll my eyes. "You're making me miss stuff."  I focus again. "Sharon is saying something about Keeping a list and that you kinda tried to kill her?" Me and Sam look at Bucky.

"Hey I didn't have any control." Bucky hangs his head in shame.

"You should apologize before it's to late and she orders a hit!" Sam nudges him.

I roll my eyes and see Steve walking back.

I sit back in my seat. "So how did it go."

Steve smiles and hands Sam his gear and shows his shield. "Well." He smiles at me and hands me my gear.

I smile widely and I kiss steve.

"Alright Alright" Bucky smiles at us. "So what now?"

Steve looks at us. "Time to get our team together."

We drive to a parking garage. We reach the 6th level of a parking garage at the Leipzig/Halle airport.

Steve drives into the parking lot in the battered, old car. He parkes by a grey van and gets out.

Clint "Cap."

I jump out the car and hug Clint. "Clint!" I smile and I see Nat.

Steve smiles "You know I wouldn't have called If I had any other choice."

Clint Nods "Hey man, you're doing me a favour. Besides, I owe a debt."

Steve "Thanks for having my back."

Wanda looks relieved "it was time to get off my ass."

Steve looks around "How about our other recruit?"

Clint Smiles And opens the van door. "He's rarin' to go. Had to put a little coffee in him, but... he should be good."

Scott Stumbles Out the van "What timezone is this?"

Clint Helps him stand still "Come on. Come on."

Scott shakes Steve's hand with an amazed look. "Captain America!"

Steve still shaking his hand smiles "Mr. Lang."

Scott cheesing "It's an honour. I'm shaking your hand too long. Wow! This is awesome! Captain America." He looks at Wanda. "I know you, too. You're great!" He turns back and feels Steve's shoulders. "Jeez. Ah, look, I wanna say, I know you know a lot of super people, so... Thinks for thanking of me." To Sam he waves "Hey, man!"

Sam Sizing Scott up "What's up, Tic Tac?"

Scott Scratches his head "Uh, good to see you. Look, what happened last time when I..."

Sam Smirks " It was a great audition, but it'll... it'll never happen again."

Steve Gets real serious "They tell you what we're up against?"

Scott thinks for a second. "Something about some... psycho-assassins?"

I look at Scott "We're outside the law on this one. So, if you come with us, you're a wanted man."

Scott Shrugs "Yeah, well, what else is new?"

Bucky Looks around "We should get moving."

Clint Informs us "We got a chopper lined up. "

Man on PA #2: Dies ist eine Notsituation. Alle Passagiere müssen den Flughafen sofort evakuieren. (This is an emergency. All passengers must evacuate the airport immediately.)

Bucky Listens "They're evacuating the airport."

Sam Looks at us "Stark."

Scott Looks at us all Confused "Stark?"

Steve Looks to Scott "Suit up."
