Chapter 40

Tony Flew up and shot at the hydra agents. "Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said "language?""

Steve gets off his bike. "I know." And throws his bike at some soldiers driving up in their truck. "It just slipped out."

I laugh and put up shields for me Natasha and Clint. Catching the bullets before they hit us.

Stark flies to the HYDRA base to break in.

"Avinna back up Tony!" Steve yells. I nod and send the bullets flying back at the agents before flying after him.

"I got your back" I say to Tony and put up a protective cloaking shield around me and Tony to get him to the scepter undetected.

Jarvis speaks "Sir, the city is taking fire."

Tony Ahead of me. "Well, we know Strucker's not going to worry about civilian casualtiesg. Send in the Iron Legion."

The Iron Legion comes and flies in to the civilians. "This quadrant is unsafe. Please back away. We are here to help. This quadrant is unsafe. Please back away. Please back away. We wish to avoid collateral damage and will inform you when this current conflict is resolved. We are here to help."

I look just in Time to see a man throws a stone at the Iron Legion. I laugh as the iron legion continues unfazed "we are here to help."

As me and Tony continue I hear Natasha scream "Clint!"

"Go Avinna!" Tony yells jut as we reach the base. I turn and fly as fast as I could to where Clint and Natasha is.

I get there in time to see a fast man knock down Steve as he speeds passed him.

Steve speaks to us "we have an enhanced in the field."

"steve we got to group up!" I yell over the explosions.

Natasha Runs to Clint "Clint's hit! Somebody want to deal with that bunker?"

The ground rumbles beneath my feet. I see the Hulk coming in to the rescue.

Steve comes closer. I shoot a couple arrows into the hydra agents. Steve having my back fighting with the soldiers "Stark, we're really need to get inside."

Tony "I'm closing in. JARVIS, am I...closing in? Do you see a power source for that shield?"

JARVIS "There's a pathway below the north tower."

Tony "Great, I wanna poke it with something."
Stark blows up the invisible shield on the base
"Drawbridge is down, people."

Thor lands next to me and looks at me and Steve "The enhanced?"

Steve Responds unsure of what to say. "He's .. a blur. All the new player's we've faced, I've never seen this. In fact, I still haven't."

"He runs really fast my brother!" I shrug.

Natasha Brings us back to realize that Clint is hit pretty bad. "guys. We're gonna need evac."

Thor looks at me and  Steve. "I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone the better. You Avinna and Stark secure the scepter."

Steve Nods "Copy that."

"But I can help you Thor." I looks into his eyes.

Thor "no. I got this. After all. I am the god of thunder!" He looks at the approaching soldiers in their HYDRA tank. "Looks like they're lining up."

Steve Grabs my hand in reassurance. "Well, they're excited."

I look to Thor and cover Natasha Clint and I.

Thor pounds on Steve's shield with his hammer and the force knocks down all the soldiers. "Find the scepter. Don't let him get hurt." Thor laughs and  flies off.

Tony Rings In "And for gosh sake, watch your language!"

Steve sighs "That's not going away anytime soon."

Natasha Hugs Clint and shorts an agent dead. "We're locked down out here"

Steve And I start striking agents on both sides of Natasha and Clint "Then get to Banner, time for a lullaby." Steve nods his head towards hulk.

Thor grabs Clint over his shoulder and goes to Natasha's area while I fly me and Steve towards Tony's location.

Steve boomerangs his shield around and I whip the snow around and freeze some in place so they can't move.

We reach the door and steve rolls in as I whip the snow  shoot arrows and drag the agents and throw them against the wall.

We run down a few hallways occasionally fighting some agents or putting them to sleep.

Steve sees Strucker "Baron Strucker. Hydra's number one thug."

Strucker snottiness replies "Technically, I'm a thug for SHIELD."

Steve Readies himself "Well then technically you're unemployed. Where's Loki's scepter?"

Strucker "Don't worry, I know when I'm beat. You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope."

"Why give up so easy? What is your game?" I wrap his arms in a water lock.

Steve "I'll put it right under illegal human experimentation."

He shrugs.

"How many are there?" I look at steve. "The enhanced ones. How many did you make?" I tighten the water.

Suddenly, a woman knocks Steve down using her telekinetic powers "steve!"

She quickly leaves.

Steve gets up "We have a second enhanced. Female. Do not engage."

He looks at Strucker.

Strucker Smiles "You'll have to be faster than..."

Steve uses his shield to knock out Strucker "Guys, I got Strucker."

Tony Ribgs in our ears "Yeah, I got...something bigger."

I grab a pouch full of water and surround Strucker a body and levitate him.

Tony Chimes in again. "Thor, I got eyes on the prize."

I start moving the body to stick to me and steve gets ready for a new back exit.

"You guys ready for us? We got Strucker and Tony has the scepter." Steve starts setting up bombs

"We're ready!" Agent hill responds.

I follow steve out the back and see Thor our Clint on the jet and as me and Steve approach it Tony flies in with the scepter. I lay Strucker down and as the door closes the facility lights in a beautiful explosion.
