Chapter 55

I turn to see Ultron fly and smack Thor. He continues hitting Thor "You think you're saving anyone? I turn that key and drop this rock a little early and it's still billions dead. Even you can't stop that."

I see a look on his face. "Thor..."

Thor looks at me and throw his hammer up. "I am Thor, son of Odin!"

Vision catches it and I wrap him in a sharp shield arrow. 

Thor continues "and as long as there is life in my breast, I am...running out of things to say! Are you ready?"

I laugh and me and Thor circle right behind vision.

Vision uses Thor's hammer to hit Ultron.

I blast Ultron with shards of ice.

Vision then throws the hammer back to Thor. "It's terribly well balanced."

Thor looks at it "Well, if there's too much weight, you lose power on the swing, so."

I shake my head and help tony fight off more robots trying to attack the helicarrier.

Tony Yells "I got it! Create a heat seal. I can...I can supercharge the spire from below. Thor, I got a plan!"

Thor looks back at tony. "We're out of time. They're coming for the core."

Tony Looks to James. "Rhodey, get the rest of the people on board that carrier."

James "On it."

Tony Announces to us. " Avengers, time to work for a living."

"No shit Ive been working!" I kick a robot in half.

"Romanoff? You and Banner better not be playing "hide the zucchini." Tony calls for Nat.

Natasha In the war piece. "Relax, Shell-head. Not all of us can fly." as she joins the rest of the team. "What's the drill?"

Tony flys over as we all gather by the drill. "This is the drill. If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose."

Ultron shows up outside the drill room.

Thor looks at Ultron "Is that the best you can do?!"

Ultron summons his army of robots to join him.

Steve Breathlessly looks at Thor. "You had to ask."

"Damn it brother!" I hit his shoulder.

Ultron stretches his arms out. "This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you, against all of me. How could you possibly hope to stop me?"

Tony Looks to Steve.  "Well, like the old man said. Together."

Then they start to fly in at us.

I shoot shards up as Steve shields himself and Thor slams his hammer into it blasting a dozen robots to pieces.

Ultron "You know, with the benefit of hindsight...." suddenly Hulk knocks him far away and the robots start to retreat.

"Tony!?" I wrap a water around me and create my wings.

Thor "They'll try to leave the city." He starts to fly after them along side me.

Tony Yells "We can't let 'em, not even one. Rhodey!"

James flies in from somewhere "  I'm on it."

Vision flies in and helps to destroy the robots.

Steve In the coms "We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats, I'll sweep for stragglers, be right behind you."

Clint asks what's on all our minds "What about the core?"

Wanda Maximoff: I'll protect it. It's my job.

Steve, Barton and Natasha start running to the life boats.

Wanda looks to Pietro "Get the people on the boats."

Pietro Shakes his head "I'm not going to leave you here."

Wanda sternly "I can handle this." just then she blasts off an approaching robot. "Come back for me when everyone else is off, not before."

Pietro Looks Down. "Hmm."

Wanda grabs his face. "You understand?"

Pietro Cant help but smile "You know, I'm twelve minutes older than you."

Wanda chuckles "now Go."

I fly up with Thor and we go in circles around the flying land killing robots and delivering people to the boats.

I find Nat. "Natasha call it. It's time. We need Bruce."

Natasha finds the Hulk. "Hey, big guy. Sun's getting real low."

I fly away to meet Tony and Thor.

"You know, if this works, we maybe don't walk away." Tony looks at us.

Thor holds my hand. "Maybe not."

As Natasha tries to calm Hulk down to get him back to being Banner Ultron flies in with a jet and starts shooting at them.

Ultron voice sings through the land "I got no strings, so I have fun. I'm not tied up to anyone."

"Brother we must proceed." I reach an arm out and start gather all the water from the land.

I see Ultron kicked out of a jet from a distance he crashes. Tony flys away from us.

"You know steve will be very upset if you die." Thor looks at me.

I break into a sweat still gathering water. "Oh brother. He knows what we signed up for. His life was on the line too."

"I'm quite proud of you dear sister." Thor Smiles.

Stark fires a powerful blast to the core underneath the floating city. "Thor, on my mark."

I start making a thick shield around us with an opening to the core. Thor brings on a blast of lightning.

"For Honor! For Life! For Love!" My voice rings out to the heavens. "Dear Odin please look upon us and grant might for we to save Earth!"

"Now!"

Thor uses his hammer to hit the Vibranium core in the church, destroying the core and the floating city.

I seal us off. Feeling the blast engulf us.
