Tweek's POV

Tonight's the night!

Years of fake dating and watching other couples going out at the coffee shop has been a stuggle. Seeing couples reach for the other ones hand, staring lovingly in their eyes, locking lips passionately. Is all that going to happen tonight......probably not. I'm trying to keep my expectations low and not anticipate too much from Kyle. He doesn't know this is my first official date and that 'Creek' wasn't a real thing. For all he knows I could be a sex driven teenager who parties with alcohol and drugs. Even though I haven't done any of those things Kyle could percieve me that way. I hope he doesn't.

I've been waiting five minutes in front of the abandened farm. Kyle texted me an hour ago "I'm leaving Denver and can't wait to see you ;) " I texted him back "great, can't wait to see you too" Almost instantly my phone chimes with a new message "[Auto-Reply] I'm driving right now- I'll get back to you later." Whoah, he must be a safe driver. It's nice knowing that he doesn't text and drive. We've had many casualties at our school from distracted drivers and phones were the main cause.

He arrived in his matte black Jeep Renegade slowly coming to a stop once he found me standing outside. Even though I was only two steps away from the door I managed to trip and fall to the ground. An 'oh crap' slips from Kyles mouth as he's trying to quickly unbuckle his seatbelt and exit his car to come to my aid. He runs right over to me and grabs my hand to help me stand up without falling again. Right away the smell of white citrus is radiating off of him and hope that it doesn't clash with my spiced apple body wash. I get guided into the passenger seat and wait for Kyle to go back to the drivers side of his car. When he seats himself he looks over to me and starts laughing hysterically. This totally caught me off guard and I can't piece together why me tripping and falling would be so hilarious. "Wh-why are y-you laughing a-at me?"

In between laughing he managed to get out "I knew I should have opened the door for you.  It just seemed so 'cliche' and that's why I didn't do it but know looking back I totally should have. Just so you know, I would have caught you before you hit the ground. I'm fast remember. " He stops laughing and is all smiles before he hands me a Java Zone coffee cup. "Sorry I was a little late, I thought this would help with the drive. I had to go a couple towns over since I don't feel to welcomed at your coffee shop." Kyle has a smug look on his face waiting for my reply and moves his gear shift from park to drive. Now I know my face is completely red from all of his smooth talking and nice gesture.

"Th-thanks for the c-coffee. You didn't h-have to" I take a sip of my coffee and don't mind the taste at all. Not as good as Tweek Bros but I won't tell Kyle that. I find it really sweet that he bought me coffee even though he can't stand the stuff. We both sit not making much noise unless you count my slurping sounds from my coffee drinking or me quietly humming along to the music that's playing in the car. I don't know all the songs that are playing but it dawns on me that all of these songs are by the same band. I can tell Kyle knows all of the songs which would make sense since this is his playlist of music.

"So do you like this band, my friend and I are huge fans of their music." I nod my head with a shy face and resume drinking my coffee. "Good to know...." He then gets this big grin on his face that would give the 'Chesire Cat' a fun for his money. "Aren't you curious about where we're going? I'm surprised you haven't asked yet tonight."

"Um, I th-thought you m-might take us to the m-movies since that was technically what you said w-we'd do the f-first time you asked me out. Then when y-you said to dress w-warm I had no clue."I was grateful to have the coffee to ocupy my hands and give me a reason to stop talking. All of Kyle's questions and sly comments have been making me more nervous than usual and I knew I wasn't controling my stuttering very well. "So, are you going t-to tell me where w-we're going?"
