Tweek's POV
"Tonight was a blast. I don't remember the last time I laughed so much in such a short period of time." Kyle told me with a huge smile on his face. He hasn't stopped smiling since the first hole and I can't help but feel responsible for that. Kyle and I were going through the exit from 'Adventure Land' and heading to his car in the parking lot. It was really cold with the winter snow falling and how late at night it was. I had my arms wrapped tight around my body trying to keep in as much body heat as I could.
"I h-had a r-r-really nice t-time t-too." I was shivering from the night air but I didn't want Kyle to know that. Most people in South Park make fun of me for always being cold even though our town is known for having cold weather regularly. Also because I drink coffee on a regular basis and they assume that I'd be warm from all of that hot liquid. I think he assumed I was stuttering because I always stutter whenever I'm around Kyle.
"We'll definately have to come back in the spring time when the weather is, well.... not as cold." He told me with a sly smile as he pressed the button on his car keys to unlock his car. Crap, well so much for that! Then it dawned on me what he said before he mentioned the weather. He wanted to go out with me again. My face was warming up a little bit from blushing at Kyle's comment.
I was walking to my side of the car and Kyle sped up right in front of me to get to my door first and a little squeak escaped from my mouth. He opened my door and gestured me into the car with a goofy grin on his face. I guess this is going to be a regular thing just because I slipped....one time.....hours ago. "You know how bummed out I would be if you fell again on my watch" was all he said with a simple shrug before he shut my door then entered his side of the car.
"Psshh, y-yeah wh-whatever. Th-that was one t-time!" was all I said but not without an eye roll. Kyle didn't notice though, he was too busy hooking his phone up to his car charger and placing his phone into it's holder that was attatched to his air vents. As soon as his phone was properly set up he turned his car on and cranked up the heat at full blast. A few seconds after he started to drive I heard the 'DUN DUN' sound from his phone. I looked at him confused and said. "L-law and o-order?" He glances over to me and explained that his phone was in 'driving mode' and that the sound meant that his phone was hooked up via bluetooth to his car. Meaning that he can't recieve texts while he's driving and that's why his phone sent out an auto text when I texted him earlier. Also if anybody tries to call him he can use hands free answering from his steering wheel. He casually mentioned that he really likes that Law and Order sound and it was set as his notification for anything he gets on his phone. I wonder what his ringtone is when people call him?
For the rest of the car ride Kyle and I were talking about his basketball games that were coming up and how well his team had been doing. He mentioned that his school would be playing South Park again in a couple weeks. I seemed surprised that our school would play against his so quickly but Kyle explained to me that it's normal for small schools to play other small schools multiple times since there's not a lot of those size schools in our league. It would be unfair for a small school (1-2B) to play against a larger school (1-4A). More mumbo jumbo I couldn't pick up on right away but I'll try my best to follow along. I've tried to understand more sport related topics because of Kyle. His mood automatically lifts up higher whenever he talks about them and he seems to be good at any that he tries. If only we could all be so lucky. "Oh, y-yeah, s-sure. I think B-Butters is going t-to drive there to w-watch Kenny. He always a-asks me to t-tag along and I-I think I will th-this time!" In more of a whisper i spoke softly. "Now that I h-have a good reason t-to go it's a n-no brainer." Kyle just hums as he's still driving and paying attention to the road.
"Hmm, what was that last part? I didn't hear what you said was a 'no brainer'." GAH! Here he goes again with the snappy comebacks. I don't even need to look at him to know he's got a smug look at his face. Sometimes his ego is so big but not in an annoying way. He just enjoys giving me a hard time and seeing me squirm with all of his witty remarks. "So, where am I dropping you off in South Park tonight? We should be there within the next t-, oh great. What did I do this time?" Kyle got interupted by the sound of an old fashion phone ringing through his speakers of his car. On his screen where it shows what artist and song is playing was displayed 'Mom' and a phone number underneath. Kyle looked over to me quickly then back to his phone. I reasured him that I would stay quiet by making a zipper closing motion over my mouth then gestured towards his phone so he would answer his mother without her being suspisous. He let out a big breath before he hit the green phone button on the top left side of his stearing wheel. "Hey mom, is everything ok?"
