Kyle's POV
The last month I've been crazily busy. My days have been fully booked. Picking up Tweek for school, getting breakfast at school before the school vehicle for running start picks up myself and the other students attending this college program. Luckily the commute is small since this college is right outside the town of South Park. During this time I'm quietly listening to music but every once in a while Token will try to strike up a conversation with myself. (Who I thought hated me just like his sad excuse of a friend but more on that later.) You think we would have gone our separate ways once we arrive at the college but Token just happens to have the same two higher math and science classes that I needed to attend university. At first it was awkward with Token low key keeping tabs on me, sneakily trying to get any dirt on me that he could. Not even a week later he dropped the act just to admit that Craig proposed this stupid idea from the start. In a weird twist of events Token was grateful that he was actually able to attend these classes for the first time. His mom tried to get this program offered at the high school last year but sadly couldn't persuade the school board. Turns out my mom was the driving force that was able to get the school to change their mind. She can be very persistent with getting what she wants done. I didn't even realize the school didn't offer this at the time when I was trying to get my mom to let me attend South Park High, I just assumed the school had this program when I was doing research about how to convince my mom switching schools would be a benefit, not a downfall. I guess all the time we've spent together at running start, regular classes at school and football practice gave Token the chance to come to the realization that I wasn't as bad as Craig had portrayed me all on his own. Shocker, I know.
Anyways the rest of day consisted of lunch at school, which like breakfast was also free. The food was mostly homemade with the exception of Fridays, those days would be a choice of pizza, chicken nuggets, or cheeseburgers. It was also a highlight of my day to reconvene back with Tweek after tackling my toughest classes of the day. From his relieved facial expressions whenever he saw me, I think it's safe to say that he felt the same way. I had picked up the bad habit of pretty much becoming a human garbage disposal. Whatever Tweek couldn't finish or didn't want to eat, I would gladly eat said food. To this day Tweek still looks surprised to see all of the food I consume on a regular basis. Luckily for me I have a fast metabolism. Which for some reason pissed of another one of my old accomplices who mostly goes by his last name alone. Yeah, I'm still trying my hardest to not cross paths with him. He's notorious for going out of his way to make people's lives a living hell who wrong him. So I try me best to steer myself and Tweek as far away from him as possible. Craig having a bad taste in his mouth about me is one thing, the furthest thing I want is another enemy when I just want to coast through my last year of schooling with Tweek.
After I've stuffed my face, Current World Problems is next. Pretty much every senior is in this class because it's a requirement to graduate and you can only take it your last year of high school. Surprisingly our graduating class is so small that we all (barely) fit in a regular size classroom. The best part is when the teacher shows clips of Philip DeFranco covering certain topics with an unbiased opinion. It's funny when she doesn't even try to skip past the parts where he drops a couple F bombs. Apparently swearing isn't a big deal at this school which means the students don't suffer from any repercussions at all when they exhibit the same language.
The second to last class I always arrive with the most scrumptious apple. I make sure to pick one up from the cafeteria before I trek out to the opposite end of the hallway for language arts. (Raise your hand if you thought I was referring to Tweek earlier haha.) Unfortunately Tweek takes this class in the morning but fortunately David is in this class with me. It was definitely a life saver to have someone else I know when attending a brand new atmosphere with several people I somewhat considered strangers still. Sure I recognized a couple guys from the football team and the cheerleaders who frequently make an appearance at our games. Other than that it was just boys and girls I got used to seeing on a regular basis either wandering the halls, eating lunch, or arriving to the office. I at first was scheduled to work in a random classroom but the teacher couldn't seem to control their class very well. Turns out I was a bit of a distraction for many young students and the teacher obviously resented me for that. I decided to trade my T.A. position at the office instead, just at the last period of the day. Which was pretty perfect to be honest. If there wasn't a lot of work for me to do, the ladies had no problem letting me go to the computer lab (which was right across the hall) to have a quieter atmosphere to get caught up on some school work. The only days I was busy was any day the school had a home game for either volleyball, soccer, or football. I was tasked with folding up the colored papers that would make the programs that had each players stats. Next week would be one of those days, homecoming to be exact. Oh and did I forget to mention that I'll be playing among my old peers. Cross Point will be our opponent for the big game. Of course this game had to be the first time I would see them since I left all of them in my past life. I'm not too worried for myself but more for Tweek. They used to have him nicknamed as a 'good luck charm' for the school but now most likely hate his guts for dragging out their star player to play for a rival team. Which was something Tweek never asked me to do, but I'd be lying if I said me changing schools had nothing to do with Tweek. Until then I'll continue with the full lay out of a typical day of school.
Before the last bell rings, the office ladies give me the courtesy of leaving early so I can change into my football gear and be one of the first few kids in line to get an after school snack. I know more eating, but I'm not going to let all of the free food this school gives away go to waste. It wasn't much, you could only grab two items and a fruit, but that never stopped me from waiting in line everyday to get them. It would always work out perfectly of Tweek meeting me outside the cafeteria to gather up any items from his locker and we could walk together to the football field. We only had one class together and the only other time I would see him is between classes, when I pick him up for school, and in the cafeteria. On the home game days I drop him off at work if he's needed or we hang out at his house. Does that make me clingy, maybe, but I'll squeeze in as much time with Tweek as I can. Life could not be more perfect and next week will be the cherry on top for sure.
A nice overview of Kyle's regular school schedule. Next chapter will be homecoming and I'm almost finished with it. That will be posted within the next few days.
Had to get one chapter out for my super best friend. Her birthday has just ended. I've tried several times to tag her but she knows who she is and she's amazing and I wanted to brighten up her day with a new chapter of a story that brought us closer together as friends. Also had to mention the other lost member of what could have been Kyle's gang in another life.
