Tweek's POV
The game was actually pretty intense. Kyle's team had a hard time hitting against the opposing teams pitcher. Him and a couple seniors on his team were able to hit well enough to actually get on base. Every time Kyle was up to bat he got an RBI (runner batted in) and increased his teams points. Clyde was a decent pitcher and Kenny caught most of his pitches with only a few bobbles. Craig didn't stray too far from first base. I guess this was like a break for him as well. Everyone on South Park's team didn't have any problems hitting the ball. Their offense was well but couldn't score any runs against Kyle's defensive team. They only seemed to make it to second base though. That was strictly Kyle's territory of the field and he did a good job stopping the runners from advancing any farther whenever he fielded the ball. He takes his games very seriously.
*******
We showed up right after the flag salute and were seated right behind home base. Kyle was in a small squat in between second and third base. Kyle told me his position was called shortstop. I looked it up on my phone after he told me. I wasn't too surprised to read that this was an important and demanding defensive position. I thought this was supposed to be a break from basketball?
ANYWAYS....
HOT!!
That was the first thing I thought when I saw Kyle in his baseball uniform. Those baggy basketball shorts didn't do much for Kyle's figure. The way his pants was hugging his buttocks was making me drool. I wonder if straight guys feel the same way when they see girls in their volleyball shorts. Sounds creepy but to each their own. I knew he had nice biceps, his basketball jersey showed them off well. Screw basketball, baseball is officially my new favorite sport. Who knew I could be turned on by something so simple as a team uniform. Butters noticed me staring at the other team on the field and nudged me. "They all look pretty good right?" I could feel my face turning red. I was too afraid of saying something stupid so I nodded my head with a small smile. "Wait until you see Kenny as the catcher. He's squatting half of the game and I find myself constantly staring at his butt." He said that so casually, my mind was blown. My face was most likely the color of a tomato at this point.
"GAH, OH MY GOSH BUTTERS! My poor innocent ears didn't need to hear that." I know I was just thinking about Kyle's butt, but Butters doesn't need to know that and I am nowhere near as comfortable talking about butts like he is. Butters was laughing at my child-like behavior of covering my ears with my hands. My mind wasn't as innocent as I was implying. As far as everyone else in South Park not knowing that was fine with me.
Time skip to spring break.
All of the students were relieved that a week away from school had finally arrived. No games or practices were scheduled until the break was over. Kyle was looking forward to hanging out with myself and David. He had planned today at his house just the two of us though. I had no idea where Kyle lived in South Park but that would change quickly. I just got a text telling me he's leaving his house now and would be at our pick up spot soon. I told my parents I would help them at the shop during the busy morning shift. For how small our town is, I'm still surprised how well our coffee shop seems to hold up for it being a weekday. Coffee must be the only way people can get through the horrible day known as Monday. The morning rush had died down thirty minutes ago. I was helping my mom with inventory before I doubled checked with her to make sure it was OK that I left. She assured me that everything was under control and that I was free to go. I hung up my apron and gave my mom a quick hug before I walked out of the back door.
The walk to the abandened farm was only a few minute walk. I ran up to Kyle's jeep once I spotted it. I think Kyle saw me first because he jumped out of his car to greet me with his arms out expecting a giant hug when I was a mere ten feet away. What a dork. I humored him and maneuvered my body close to his. He didn't hesitate to wrap his arms tightly around my torso, squeezing me with all of his might. "K-Kyle, you just s-saw me a few w-weeks ago at your g-game. You're acting l-like you haven't s-seen me in m-months." I started to lightly smack his arm to get my next point across. "Also, I'm h-having a hard time b-breathing." He caught on quickly and released me from his grip. Just as I was trying to regain my breath he grabbed my chin to make it easier to attach his lips to mine. On impulse I was kissing him back with no worries of the world, which is so unlike my normal behavior. Our kiss ended just as quickly as it started. He pulled away slowly so I could actually regain my breath. He lead me to the passenger seat of his car shuffling me inside. Once Kyle got to his side of his car, the drive started to his house. At first the car was filled with silence but Kyle eventually spoke up.
"Sorry about that. You know how hard it was to see you at my last game and not being able to hug or kiss you?" He sounded so guilty, like he was the only one who felt that way when we see each other in a public setting. I was ready to assure him it's hard for me also and his car stopped. He parked his car and I realized we must all ready be at his house. The drive only lasted a few minutes. His house was less than a mile away from the coffee shop and a few houses away from Butters' pad.
"Duh K-Kyle, it's hard for m-me as well. I g-guess I'm just b-better at keeping my composure. Someone has t-to." I started to chuckle and noticed Kyle was giving me the stink eye. I pulled myself together which only proved my point even farther. "See?" I said with a smirk which went away quickly when I realized how many kids from school lived around Kyle. I was very cautious to leave Kyle's car. Once I triple checked the coast was clear I followed Kyle into his house.
"Yes dear, whatever you say dear." Kyle said in the most sickly sweet voice he could muster up. He always has a hard time when he's proven wrong. He lead me down to his basement, (to him and Ike it's like their game room.) The room was huge with a giant couch that looked really comfortable. There was also a nice pair of red gaming chairs that were placed in front of a humongous smart TV with the Wii home screen displayed! I recognized the newest type of xbox console on the same shelf the Nintendo Wii was sitting on. Nothing too out of the ordinary except a cart filled with different types of bottles I've never seen before. Kyle noticed where my gaze was at and that's where he started walking towards. "Which one peaks your interest?"
Don't worry it's nothing bad. More cute hang out time coming in hot in the next chapter This time in Kyle's eyes.
