Kyle's POV

Another great game under my belt. Still processing the fact that I broke the school record. It's now my own personal record to beat, which won't be too hard if I keep my 'motivation' to get all of those points. During my celebration dinner my mom asked me if I had been dating any boys yet, she must have noticed how much happier I am whenever she sees me. Tweek crossed my mind but we both agreed to not tell anybody..... after I had all ready told David everything. Tweek doesn't know that he knows and it was quite humorous the idea of David messing with him last night. For a guy who's so paranoid about anybody finding out, he didn't pick up any slight hint that David knows. He was totally clueless about the questions that he asked and what he was implying. I wish I would have been there to see Tweek all flustered.

I re-assured her that I don't have time to date with basketball, tutoring for extra money, and holding up my high G.P.A. I know how my mom feels about me getting good grades and she drops that subject right away. Happy to know I'm taking my studies seriously, she moves on to questions about the concert. It's not my first time going to one. David and I tried to make it a habit to attend a few each year. She made sure I had money for parking, food, and a t-shirt. I made it a small tradition to buy the concert t-shirt that had the tour dates on the back. I was up to six different shirts. Maybe bringing along Tweek to all of the upcoming concerts could be our new tradition.

I met up with David to wish him a happy birthday and drop off his present. I also stopped by my house to hang out with Ike for a bit. A couple hours later I was ready to pick up my sweet caramel apple. I finally broke the news to him that we're going to an Imagine Dragons concert. I was pretty sure he had never been to any concert before and it's awesome to know that I'm taking him to his first. Fingers crossed I can take other firsts that he hasn't done yet. Tweek seemed pretty excited but with a small hint of nervousness also.

"Wow, r-really?! That b-band is awesome. I wanted t-to go a few y-years ago when th-they did their first sh-show in Denver." I had a feeling this would come up and I had the perfect response all ready in my head.

"Funny you mentioned that. That was the first concert my friend and I went to." I could tell he was speechless. He must be having the same realization I had come to earlier when I planned on taking him weeks ago. "So Imagine Dragons holds a special spot for the both of us." I know how cheesy that sounds and I mentally cringe when those words leave my mouth. I quickly glance over towards Tweek expecting him to be snickering at my comments but shockingly he acted the total opposite.

"Yeah.... S-something special for the b-both of us.... Th-that's what I've always w-wanted......" I had to strain my ears to catch his words. He was very quiet and was trying his best to keep himself composed. After a few sniffles Tweek breaks the silence. "Um K-Kyle?" I expected him to continue right away but he didn't. I reply with a quick 'yes' waiting for the question that is obviously meant for me. "Why does y-your car smell like a-apples?"

I bought these vent air clips after I asked Tweek to be my boyfriend. It was the only thing I could think that would remind me of him. The scent of apples, that smell always lingers off of Tweek whenever I'm close enough to him. I'm surprised he could tell the smell was in my car and not just from him. The first day I put it in the scent was really strong and now it had a faint hint of apples. "The last t-time I was I-in your car there w-wasn't any type of scent." I was debating with myself if I should come clean or make up some lame excuse. I lied, it actually wasn't a difficult decision at all.

"I'm surprised you had to ask. I bought these a few weeks ago. You know, after our first date.... You always smell like apples.... I wanted something that reminds me of you....." Tweek let out a quiet 'gasp' and I was hoping that it meant he found this sweet and not at all creepy. I got my answer after Tweek brought his face close to mine and planted a quick kiss on my cheek. Once he returned to his seat he sarcastically said "not c-creepy at all." My eyes shot open and for a second I was scared that Tweek was some kind of mind reader.
