Tweek's POV

We were almost at our coffee shop. Butters has had his nose in his phone nonstop the second we left the boutique. Every time I would try to catch a glance at his side of the car he would act super defensive by swatting me away and telling me to mind my own business. When the car was parked my mom instructed me to go through the back door and put my new suit on to show my dad. I thought it was suspicious that my mom didn't send him a pic of me wearing the suit when I first tried it on, less than an hour ago. More weirdness I suppose. Butters didn't follow me to the back door though. He made a bee line for the front entrance and scolded me when I tried to follow him. I didn't know what the big deal was. There's a public bathroom that's perfectly fine but for some reason I could only use the employee bathroom. The last thing I heard from Butters was a faint "he's here!" I knew Butters was close with my mom but I didn't know he felt that same way towards my dad. The only thing left to do was put my suit on for dad. I decided to go with a simple light brown suit with a white button shirt and black belt (not the karate kind) to match the black shoes. Fingers crossed dad approves for his families wedding.

Kyle's POV

"He's here!" Butters ran in and announced rather loudly. He must have noticed because of everyone staring at him with a finger over their lips and glaring with anger at him. "Sorry, I'm just so excited and nervous for you Kyle. What if this is all too much and we end up freaking out Tweek? Nobody has even come close to doing anything this elaborate at our school. The day you have planned sounds fantastic! I just know Tweek is going to love it! You're slowly getting on my good side Broflovski." The nerve of this kid to address me by my last name. If it would have been anyone else, they would've been sorry. I heard rustling from the back storage area. Any second I will get the a dressed up Tweek. I hope he likes my outfit as well.

"So dad what do you th-" The rest of the room fell silent with Tweek. Nobody was surprised that Tweek stopped mid-sentence. One look at my green suit tends to stop traffic. His suit was a good fit for Tweek. Perfectly complimenting his hair and the apple boutonniere that I carefully pinned on his lapel, being extra careful to not poke him with the sharp needle. He looked sweet, just like a caramel apple.  I of course was sporting an orange boutonniere. These were not easy to find by the way. I had to get creative and by creative I mean ask my mom for help. She ended up making them herself with fake fruit and flower bits which was fine by me. Normal boutonnieres turn bad within a week, these ones would last forever. Butters looked like he just had an epiphany, not sure what it was about but I might ask him later. Right now all of my time and energy would only be going to Tweek.

I grabbed Tweek and positioned him behind the cash register. He looked like he was about ready to throw up. He had no idea that I would be surprising him.I quickly walked over to the other side of the counter. My heart was beating as fast as hummingbirds flap their wings. I took in a deep breath and reached for Tweek's hands. Once I had a hold of them I gripped on for dear life to have the courage to push through my monologue I had been mastering for days. "I'm only human, contrary to what others believe. You are the anchor to my kite. I soar the highest when I'm with you. Before my life was grounded. Everyone in my school loves you. These past few months have been wonderful. Will you do me the honor of accompanying me to prom Tweek?"

"Wh- what?" A loud groan fell over the crowd. Which included Tweek's parents, David, Butters, and my mother.  Tweek looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here. Everyone staring at him was a bit much. He was shaking and his gaze was at the small group so I gently guided his face directly in front of mine. Round two.

"Let me spell it out for you. I really like you Tweek. Will you accompany me to prom?" I brought up prom for the second time. He should catch on that I want him to go to prom with me at this point. It took about ten seconds until Tweek finally gave an answer I could work with. He was also wearing the biggest smile I've ever seen.

"Y-you're kidding right? No way someone as hot as you wants to go to prom with me." At this point everyone looked really confused. I however knew exactly what Tweek was implying. He was able to comprehend all of my sentences.

"I'm pretty sure that's a yes but just in case. One kiss for no and two kisses for yes." Tweek didn't hesitate to give me two... flicks on my forehead. PDA must still be a big no-no in his town. His families coffee shop was no exception. He normally has no problem kissing me around total strangers. His parents must be a different story. "I wanted to ask you here because standing right here, both times that day was when I first started catching feelings for you. My best guess is that those feelings weren't returned until I went out of my way to complete our bet at your hi-."

"Tweek, what bet? You don't have a gambling problem do you?" Way to kill the mood Butters. I couldn't help but snicker when I saw David lightly smack the back of Butters head.Tweek was in the same boat as David. He was quick to dismiss the crazy assumption.

"Relax Butters, the only thing that was on the line was whether or not Kyle would get my cell number. There was no money at stake." Butters backed away slowly with a look of shame. In a blink of an eye Tweek's mom was at Butters' side to comfort him. Looks like she's going to give Tweek a run for his money to be Butters best friend. Definitely a different dynamic from my family.

Did anyone get the hidden message in Kyle's promposal speech? I was racking my brain to try to get all of the words to match up and actually make some sense.

Also CheerioCharms had a promposal in their Bunny fanfic and I thought it was hilarious how both of our stories are on similar timelines even though it doesn't match the current timeline in the world.
