Two Weeks Earlier

"If you come here to ask me where he is..I am very happy to tell you, Qing that I don't know.." Ann turned around to see Qing, who had been standing by the door for quite some time in silence.

"Please, Ann.." The tall, well built man, with the face of a superstar, whispered, pleadingly. His eyes were lifeless.

Ann looked at her father who had just gone to sleep, and quietly she stood up. She didn't want her father to wake up and get all worked up again, seeing the man at the door.

"Outside.." Ann hissed as she walked passed Qing, opening the door, walking out of the room.

She turned to Qing sharply, after they were quite far from the room, where her father had been warded.

She folded her hands in front of her, looking at Qing in defiance. Qing's haggard appearance didn't manage to deter her from being angry at the man.

"The blood that Uncle is using, it's Dayu's blood, right?" Qing began, "surely you knew where he is..Please Ann...Have mercy...It had been three years....Please..." Qing pleaded, without holding anything back. His pride doesn't matter at the moment. He would beg. He would even grovel at Ann's feet if he had to. He'd do anything to get even a little information about Dayu at this stage.

Ann smiled but only with her lips, her eyes were as cold as ice, "I told you. I don't know. And even if I knew, what made you think I would tell you?" She smirked, "But honestly..I don't know..The blood came via the hospital, with my father's name specifically written on the legal papers. If you really want to know, ask the hospital. They're the only ones who probably knew where Dayu's blood were sent from.."

Qing's heart fell. His only hope of finding Dayu was to know where the blood was from.

Qing gritted his teeth. Looking at Ann, he knew that his cousin was not lying. She's telling the truth. She's angry at him, but she's not concealing the truth from him.

"I already asked them..They declined...They said it was the hospital's policy not to reveal the blood donor's details or whereabouts." Qing said, painfully. He even tried bribing the hospital's executives, in his desperation, but they turned him down. Even though he's also one of the patrons for the hospital. They said, rules are rules. Donors details are confidential.

"Serves you right..!" Ann muttered looking straight into Qing's eyes, "I hope you never find him..." she said, as she walked pass Qing, back to her father's ward. Then she stopped, and said, "Don't come here again. Baba couldn't afford getting mad anymore. I mean it." Then she continued walking, leaving Qing there, clutching his painful chest, as Ann's words hit him like poisonous arrows, piercing straight into his heart.

They maybe cousins but what Qing had done, made him almost her enemy, at the moment.

It was a few weeks ago, when Qing visited Uncle Tony, Ann's father at the hospital, and caught the father and daughter talking about the blood.

For three years, his uncle had been receiving blood from the one person, Qing had been looking for; for three years. Feng JianYu. And in his shock and anger, he burst in, demanding the details; losing his composure. Usually, knowing that his uncle hated him and didn't want to see him, Qing would only send the flowers outside of his room, and peeked at him from the door. But not this time.

They knew that he had been looking for that man for three years. They knew the state he was in for three years and they still kept such important information away from him.

As soon as Uncle Tony saw Qing, he got hysterically mad and almost threw the needles attached to his hand at Qing. Ann had to calm her father down with the help of several nurses.
