Two Months later
It's raining cats and dogs again, and Dayu was drenched as he finally reached the café half an hour before it's opened. He went to the back, to park his bicycle and use the back door.
"Dayu!" Uncle Tsang, the baker, exclaimed as he saw Dayu coming in, wearing his raincoat. But he's still drenched.
"Boss!" Siew Li, the waitress and kitchen helper, was shocked to see Dayu coming in early even though it's raining heavily.
"Unbelievable!" Ah To, the kitchen helper who was preparing the buns on a tray almost dropped the tray seeing the boss coming before the cafe opened despite of the rain. He made a bet with SiewLi for fun, and he bet that the boss would manage to come before the cafe opened (despite believing otherwise).
But, amazingly. He won the bet. Ah To exchanged a look with SiewLi. And he raised his eyebrow at her as SiewLi snorted.
"Oh! My God!" Auntie Huiyin, the receptionist, who's also uncle Tsang's wife walked in from the café into the kitchen, and she froze seeing Dayu like that, "go and take a bath right now!!!" She ordered sternly, her hands on her hips. She's the mother to everyone in the café, including Dayu, even though the cafe belongs to him.
"Yes...Auntie Yin..I'm going now.." Dayu smiled then he walked hurriedly to the door leading up to the rest area beside the kitchen, where the staffs' bathroom and toilet were situated, next to his office. He had towels and spare clothes in his office.
If outsiders were to see the situation in the café, they would think that everybody there were a family and not employer-employees.
"Whoa! Boss, you're soaked!" The pair of lovers , Minjun and Yang, the café's waiter and assistant baker, met Dayu on the doorway, as they walked into the kitchen after they put their backpacks in their lockers, in the restroom. Every staff has their own lockers at the rest area.
"I'm on the bicycle okay..." Dayu mumbled walking past them, into the rest room and went to his office to get his spare clothes and towels. It's not unusual for him or any of his cafe staffs to bathe in the staffs' bathroom, but this is the first time Dayu did it early in the morning. He was drenched by the rain, after all.
