Mr Feng JianYu..."
I stopped on my feet, looking at the man in front of me, thinking perhaps I was just seeing and hearing things.
Standing before me was the man, who married Lin Min Mei; Qing's best friend, Mr Guo. I only saw him once, in person, that time when they had their wedding reception at the hotel. But, I remembered him, because I was already in love with Qing then. Everything that concerned him, got me so interested. And I remembered making comparison between the two men at that time.
Qing beat Mr Guo in every department, if I were Lin Min Mei, I would have chosen Qing in an instant. Maybe Lin Min Mei really was in love with Mr Guo and not Qing, though my gut instinct did tell me that nothing's quiet what it seemed, with the relationship between the three. That's my honest thought at that moment and time. Little did I know that I would somehow be involved in their story, soon after that.
I didn't expect to see Mr Guo today, at my cafe, though. And I was more than shocked because he seemed to know me. In my memory, we had never been formally introduced. But, he did call my by my name, didn't he?
"Sorry..You must be shocked.." the man smiled as he bowed apologetically, "I recognised you...Min Mei, had some pictures of you.." he paused and then he bowed again, "sorry...Let me formally introduce myself first, I'm Guo Qi Zhou, Qing's friend.." I noticed that he associated himself with Qing and not Lin Min Mei. No doubt, he knew of the nature of relationship that I had with Qing. His wife had probably told him about us.
"Hello..I'm Feng JianYu..." it's a little awkward, introducing myself to someone who already knew who I am, "nice to meet you.."
"Nice to meet you too.." I bowed back, as Aunt Huiyin who was at the counter gave me a questioning look.
"Can we sit down and talk..for a moment..If that's okay with you...I mean...If you're working...I could wait..." I looked at Aunt Huiyin and gave her a reassuring nod. It seemed that Mr Guo didn't know that I own this cafe. He assumed I was only working here.
