Present Day
Dayu's POV
"Calm down, Qing...Geez...!" I sighed, as Qing bombarded me with questions after questions from the other side.
When I got his call, just moments after Mr Guo left the café, I thought it was an amazing coincident. I had just been thinking about giving him a call myself.
"Hello, love..." Qing's voice sounded a little 'strange' to me.
"Hello.." I was sure that Qing would get to tell me, the thing that was making his voice sound strange. So, I decided to tell him of my worry first.
"Uhm..Qing...Mr Guo had just left the café..We had a little talk..."
There was a complete silence on Qing's side, for several seconds before I heard him asking a question, "Mr Guo..? Which Guo..?"
"You know..." I was a little tentative but I had made up my mind to tell him about this so, I went on, "Your Guo..." yet I couldn't help but use the teasing note to introduce which Guo, I was talking about. 'His' Guo meant that it's the Guo he knew personally and with whom he used to be really close to with.
"My...Guo..!?!?" Qing's tone went chillingly cold, "Guo Qi Zhou?" Qing got it right, but I could tell from the sound of his voice that he didn't like it.
"What did he want!? Did he come to ambush you!?" Qing was losing his cool, "what was he thinking!? Is he out of his mind!? Was he so desperate that he resorted to this kind of thing now!? What did he say!? Did he cause any ruckus there at the café?? Good God..I never would have thought that Guo gege would ever do something like this..!!!"
As I said, Qing bombarded me with question after question which really showed just how much he was bothered by my meeting with Mr Guo. He actually thought that I was ambushed by his former best friend. That was so far from the truth, though.
"It wasn't like that...! Please..Qing.....Could you please calm down..And here me out?" I beseeched, and I heard Qing taking a deep breath before he replied, "okay...I'm calm now... So...Tell me..." he was not really that completely calm actually, I could tell from his voice, but at least he has calmed enough to hear me out now.
"Mr Guo didn't come to ambush me..It was an accidental meeting..." I was sure of it. Mr Guo looked just as surprised as I was to see him at the counter of the café. He was genuinely shocked and flustered.
"Is that so..?" Qing responded, not quiet believing it, I knew, "he just happened to be there and came across you at the café, then..?" He said, sounding very sceptical, "what a very lucky man...I had to find out from a contract, about your whereabout and he just had to walk in and saw you, accidentally?!?"
I sighed again, "yes...Qing...It could happen, you know.." he was questioning it because it was so hard for him to find me with all his efforts to do so, whilst for Mr Guo it was so easy. Qing found it odd, and a little unfair.
