  TRIGGER WARNING

Prompt: "You don't have to act like you're okay."

You rubbed your hands over your face to wipe away the tears that had just fallen. You went to the small bathroom that was in your trailer and noticed how red and puffy your eyes were. The foundation that you had previously been wearing had been washed away, along with your mascara, which was now cascading down your face and drying on your cheeks. You grabbed the small hand towel that was in there and soaked it with water, and rubbed it gently across your face to get off all of the old makeup that had been destroyed by your pent up feelings. Crying was something you tried to avoid the majority of the time, but today your depression had overwhelmed you too much and it resulted in a 20 minute fit of tears before you were needed on set. You heard someone banging on your trailer door as you fixed yourself up and opened it as soon as you were satisfied with the way you looked.

"Oh, hey Jen," you said. You gave him a half hearted smile and let him inside when he gestured toward the small table with chairs in the "living room" of your trailer. Jensen went and sat down, leaning back in his chair as he stretched and let out a groan.

"Jared should be here in a few minutes," he said as you placed his hands on the table. "Also, I knocked like 5 times before you came and answered. Were you okay?" You heart skipped a beat and you didn't know what to say for a few seconds, but you just ended up nodding your head and tucking a piece of stray hair behind your ear.

"Yeah I was just in the bathroom." You weren't lying completely. You were telling him where you were, you just weren't telling him what you were doing. Somehow that made you feel even worse than you would have if you were actually lying. You heard him saying your name and you pulled yourself out of your trance.

"Good Lord, (Y/N). Are you okay? You keep zoning out," Jensen said as he reached out to place his hand on top of yours. You nodded and held his hand and rubbed your thumb over the top of it.

"I-I'm fine. I promise," you said as you heard another knock on your trailer door. You got up to see who it was and were met with a huge smile and long shaggy hair. "Hey Jar!" He wrapped you in a hug but let go slightly when he saw Jensen gesturing towards you concerned. Jared let go as he gave you a small smile and went over to talk to Jensen. You knew they were whispering about you. You knew they had realized you had been acting off lately.

"(Y/N), you don't have to act like nothing is going on. You don't have to act like you're okay," Jensen said as he got up to wrap an arm around your shaking frame. "Just...just tell us what's wrong." You shook your head as you looked down at the floor and tried to hold your tears in.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about," you said as he shook his head at you. Jared looked at you and sighed.

"We...we've noticed that you have been more and more distant," Jared said as he walked towards you and Jensen. Suddenly, you felt your legs give out from underneath you as you landed on the floor with tears in your eyes. Jensen was pulled down with you and his first instinct was to wrap you in a hug. Jared joined in, hushing you as you cried. "You don't have to tell us why you're feeling like this, but don't pretend like you aren't feeling this way. It isn't healthy." You nodded into his shoulder as you latched onto him, letting go of Jensen completely.

"If you need anything just tell us, okay," Jensen said as you nodded into Jared's shoulder. You turned around to hug Jensen and he squeezed you tight. "We're always here, kiddo. Always."
