Trigger warning!!!!- Panic attacks are mentioned during Sam's preference!!
Dean: You stared at the boring, beige wall. You're sad, you knew you were sad, but you couldn't feel it. You could feel the tears, though. The feeling you felt was unexplainable. Emptiness, however, was a close description. This feeling had been there for ages and you still hadn't told Dean. He always asked if you were okay, which you always replied to with a simple "I'm fine." The look on his face when you said that made you know he caught the lie, but he left it alone. You were pulled out of your thoughts with the soft click of a shutting door.
"Babe, is there something you aren't telling me? Because you're crying constantly, you never smile, and you're always stuck in your thoughts. Answer this honestly: Are you okay?" Dean's voice was shaking and he soon had tears rolling silently down his face. You shook your head, staring into his eyes.
"No," you said barely above a whisper. He wrapped his arms around you and kissed your forehead. "Life fucking sucks, Dean." He nodded against your shoulder.
"Don't I know it sweetheart. Don't I know it..."
Sam: Today was the day you were meeting Dean and Castiel, the two most important people in Sam's life. You were never very good at meeting people's families. Your anxiety made it extremely hard to be in any social situations. Sam's car pulled into the driveway and your nerves got the best of you. Your legs went numb and you collapsed in the hallway. Your breathing became short and staggered and you felt like your throat was closing up. Sam knocked on your front door before speaking.
"(Y/N), are you okay?" You didn't answer Sam. You couldn't answer Sam. He gave it a few more seconds before rushing in to see what was wrong with you. As soon as he saw you, he fell to his knees and he looked you in the eyes.
"Okay, okay. Slow breaths in and out. In and out..." Sam had successfully calmed you down. "Are you okay? We don't have to go meet Castiel and Dean. We can stay here if you want. I can tell them you don't feel - "
"Sam," you interrupted, "It's okay. We can go. I just kinda had anxiety over the whole thing. Hence the anxiety attack." He smiled and kissed your cheek.
"I'm here now, so there's nothing to fear."
Cas: You watched as Sam and Dean laughed at something Cas had said. You wanted to laugh, but you didn't have the energy. You has been constantly tired and all you wanted to do was lay down and, probably, cry. Sam knew something was wrong, but your best friend and boyfriend still were oblivious. In there defense, you were able to cover up your sadness well. Cas, however, was trying to make you smile and laugh as of late, so you assumed his angel mojo caught you in your lies.
"(Y/N), why are you not happy," Cas asked after Sam and Dean left to get food. You shrugged. You knew the reason: Your depression was back and worse than it had ever been. All Cas had to do was look at you and frown, causing you to spill all of your emotions.
"Babe, I'm sick. Not physically, but mentally. My depression has successfully affected me again and I-I can't function properly anymore..." Castiel stared at you for what seemed like hours. He evntually sighed and sat down next to you.
"Do you want help? 'Cause I can help you with anything," Cas whispered making you break out into a tiny smile."I just want you to stay here and cuddle me for as long as I need." He nodded and wrapped his arms around you. He was warm, welcoming. You cuddled into his chest, finally feeling a tiny bit of happiness.
