Hogwarts AU {How He Asks You to the Yule Ball}

   Sam: Sam wasn't someone who would profess his love to you in front of a ton of people; however, that's exactly what he did when he asked you to the Yule Ball. Sam had given you a bouquet of flowers, (he had never given you flowers before so you knew that he'd asked Dean for help), and had gotten everyone in the hallway to be as quiet as possible. 

   "I know this is a shock," said your boyfriend sarcastically, "but I wanted to ask you the Yule Ball in a big way, not just by asking you on the down low. I wanted everyone to know that you were going with me, so you wanna go to the Yule Ball with me?" Blush rose on your cheeks and you nodded your head, smiling and pulling him into a big hug. Everyone cheered as he told you how much he loved you, making you blush even more. 

   Dean: Everyone knew that you and Dean were a "thing." Everyone knew that if they even laid a hand on you, Dean would smash them against a wall and threaten their life. Everyone knew Dean was violent and intimidating with anyone who tried to get in between your relationship, so it shocked the entire school to see Dean being sweet. He had led you out to the courtyard, your hand in his. He was being a perfect gentleman and you were shocked to see a bench with a sign on it. 

   "First, I'm gonna ask you to the Yule Ball," he said grabbing the sign and pausing for your answer. You smiled at him and squeezed his hand.

   "Of course I'll go with you, ya doof. And second?" You were curious as to what else he could say that would make you any happier. 

   "Do you wanna make this thing we have official? Like me being your actual boy-" You cut him off by kissing him, giving him his answer. When you pulled away, you saw practically the whole school staring at the two of you, shocked. 

    Castiel: He had told you to meet him in the common room after your last class, and he was a complete nervous wreck. Cas wanted to ask you the Yule Ball, but he didn't know how you would react. He wanted you to say yes so badly that it was killing him to even think of you saying no. You walked in a Castiel became rigid, his legs suddenly not able to move.

   "Hey, Cassie. You okay," you said cautiously as you made your way towards him. Castiel let out a breath and nodded before speaking.

   "DoyouwannagototheYuleBallwithme?" He said it fast, you not being able to catch a single thing he said. He took a second to calm himself down and repeated his question. "D-do you want to go to the Yule Ball with me?" You looked at him in disbelief, a smile forming across your face. You nodded your head frantically as you ran into his arms, tackling him into a hug. Pretty soon, Castiel and you were laughing and discussing the Yule Ball. 

   Jack: Due to Jack being extremely shy, he wasn't able to physically ask you. However, he had written up a note that asked you to the Yule Ball for him. He passed it to you during breakfast, telling you not to open it until you got to your first class. Once you sat down in Potions, you unfolded the piece of paper. 

   (Y/N), you are the light of my life. You make me smile on my darkest days, make my heart skip a beat whenever you're close; you just simply make my life better. I know this is an unconventional way to ask you, but will you go to the ball with me? Tell me in Transfiguration <3 - Your Love 

   As soon as you got to Transfiguration, you went to Jack and kissed him full on the lips repeating 'yes' over and over again. His smile spanned the entire universe as he pulled you into a bone crushing hug. 

    Gabriel: You loved going on walks around the courtyard on rainy days with Gabe. You loved them even more after he asked you to the Yule Ball while you were on one. He stopped right in front of the forbidden forest, making you wonder if he was alright. Suddenly, he looked at you and shrugged. 

   "You wanna go to the Yule Ball with me, right?" Gabe's face was full of worry. He was really hoping you would say yes, and you did. It gave him a sense of relief and he over exaggerated a long exhale, earning a laugh from you. "Good, 'cause I kinda thought you were getting sick of me."

   You rolled your eyes. "I could never." 

   Charlie: You both knew that everyone accepted you were together, but that didn't stop you two from being nervous to show affection in public. It was hard for you both to show affection in public anyway, being shy in that aspect. However, when Charlie asked you to the ball, in front of the entire school, all of those worries were demolished. She came out of a class holding a huge sign "Will you go to the ball with me?" in bright red letters as she held bright red roses in her hand. 

   "Charlie, what the hell," you giggled as you went up to give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "You didn't have to do this. I would've gone with you either way." 

   "I thought this was more traditional, even if we're not the "traditional" couple," she replied as she shrugged her shoulders. 

   Chuck: Chuck knew you were studying for a Transfiguration exam nonstop; you weren't very good at the subject. He would leave little notes to motivate you whenever you got through a few pages. Stuff like 'You're doing great, sweetie.' or 'You deserve a break. Come give me a hug.' It was rather endearing. You looked forward to these notes every few pages, and were excited to see what the note on the last page was. You read through the rest of the book, seeing the tiny slip of paper poking out from underneath the page. You picked it up and your eyes widened at what it said. 

   Since you're going to ace this exam, you wanna go to the Yule Ball with me? You jumped up, running out to the common room where you knew he sat and read at this time of night. You surprised him by tackling him and kissing him all over his face. 

   "Yes, yes, yes," you repeated. He smiled, knowing exactly what you were talking about. He wrapped his arms around you, squeezing you to death.
