[ three years later ]

the alarm clock sounds, startling taehyung awake. lifting his eyelids open, he stares at the blank ceiling and lets a soft sigh escape past his lips.

then pushing himself upwards, he sits up on his bed and let his eyes identify the room, soon realizing that he, as usual, has woken up in his bedroom. immediately, he got himself off of his bed and stumbled across his room and to the bathroom with eyes half closed.

he gets ready. he showered, dressed up, ate breakfast, brushed his teeth, and left the apartment ─ his usual routine.

starting the car, he drove off to work. he watched as he passed familiar streets and buildings. students and people headed to work occupied the sidewalks. cars and buses, and others types of transportation vehicles crowded the roads, causing traffic. considering that it is pretty early, it is very busy. but then for taehyung, it is something ordinary since a similar scenario occurred yesterday, the day before and the day before that. basically, almost everyday.

for the past three years, things happened and changed, but some still remained the same. like how he's still best friends with park jimin, and taehyung's same comely youthful face from three years ago remaining as youthful and handsome as ever. he got a job once he graduated from university, he matured, got himself a dog, recently started living alone,

and he's missing park sooyoung.
