"joy?"

joy. the name echoed in his head repeatedly. why was she here? did she come back? since when? questions filled him, giving him a headache. taehyung squinted his eyes, trying to take a better look. he wasn't quite sure if he was seeing perfectly or the intoxicant in his system has given him hallucinations.

it was the same brown eyes that used to look at him with such emotion now stared at him with a frown, disappointment etched on her face. her once long raven hair had been cropped shoulder length. it was the also same porcelain face, except it was more slimmer and mature, and more...beautiful.

"joy..." taehyung whispered.

it was a blur but before he knew it, he tore himself away from jennie and staggered towards joy, throwing his built arms around her and embracing her tightly. whatever happened next, he couldn't remember because of his intoxicated state. but he did remember whispering to her ears affectionately;

"i missed you."

then, he passed out.
