they went to two more rides before taehyung finally brought up the subject of food.

"do you want to eat next?" he asked. he was hungry from all the extreme rides. "its lunch time."

joy placed her hand over her stomach. "yeah, im kinda hungry now."

the two of them headed towards the food stalls and found corn dogs. taehyung bought for the two of them and also got them some smoothie.

"how are you feeling now?" taehyung asked with his eyes focused on her face, studying it.

joy averted her eyes from his and stared at her corndog in her hand. "much better." she replied, a small smile formed on her lips. "thank you."

taehyung broke out into a big smile. "i told you, didn't i?" he puffed his chest out, proud. he looked so childish and joy bursted out laughing.

"was that enough?" taehyung asked when their corndogs disappeared from their sticks. "do you want more? im still hungry."

joy pursed her lips, a little shy. in fact, she was still a little hungry. from her silence, taehyung guessed what she thought.

"hold on, i'll be back." taehyung said and left. joy sat there quietly, watching taehyung's back disappear among the crowd. she went on her phone when she felt a presence in front of her. thinking that it was taehyung, she glanced up with a smile which turned into an expression of confusion when she finds a stranger in front of her. it was a very handsome man, smiling at her whilst blushing a little.

"hi." he greeted awkwardly.

"uhm," joy straightened herself. "who are you?"

"oh, i'm taeyong." he extended his hand and joy  hesitantly shook it. "i saw you and thought that you're very beautiful. i was wondering if i could get your number?"

joy's heart raced. it was the first time a stranger said that to her and asked for her number. in addition to that, he's also very good-looking.

"uhm...i," she muttered, her cheeks turning red.

"what's this?" suddenly, taehyung's familiar voice comes out serious and a little deeper than it already was.

joy's and the young man named taeyong turned their heads to see taehyung standing with churros and chicken wings in his hands. the look on his face a little grim, his eyes accusingly glaring at the young man.

"oh it's-" joy began when the boy suddenly apologized.

"i'm so sorry!" he bowed. "i didnt know you were with your boyfriend. sorry, my bad. i'll leave now."

he rushed away before joy could even correct him. "but he's not my boyfriend..." joy whispered, flustered by his assumption. she turned her head towards taehyung who was grinning a little too triumphantly. when he noticed joy's face, he relaxed his face and cleared his throat.

"hungry?" taehyung extended his hands to show the food.

sighing, joy grabbed the churro from his hand and bit it in silence.
