taehyung grabs a bottle of soju and attempts to pour it in his glass when jennie suddenly caught his arm, stopping him.

"you've had enough alcohol, taehyung-ssi." she warned. "you should stop."

staring at her for a few seconds, taehyung eventually pried jennie's hand away from his arm. "i'm fine, jennie." he proceeded to pour the content of the soju bottle into his glass. "let me enjoy myself for once."

evidently, the liquor had already entered his system and is in the process of altering his sane mind. he'd already finished two bottles and was on his third bottle. bringing the glass of soju into his lips, taehyung gulped it all in one swig.

"aish..." jennie sighed heavily under her breath. a coworker had already brought seo joon home because he was too drunk to go on his own. the only ones left were taehyung, jennie and another five people from their company. in a matter of minutes, jennie could only watch as taehyung finished the entire bottle.

"okay, that's more than enough." jennie stated sternly, determined to stop taehyung this time. "you should go home now, taehyung-ssi. come on, i'll bring you."

she tugged at his arm and surprisingly, taehyung let her. jennie helped him up, then grabbed her stuff and taehyung's as well. they bid their remaining fellow colleagues goodbye and was making their way out.

taehyung's vision was partly blurry due to the intoxicant in his system. even his legs were a bit wobbly so he had to lean against jennie. taehyung's right arm wrapped around jennie's shoulders while her left hand was around his waist.

"you're heavy," jennie commented, grunting.

"sorry." taehyung muttered, barely audible.

groaning, taehyung looked ahead and saw someone. besides the fact that his vision wasn't exactly clear, taehyung found the blurry face staring at him very familiar.

"joy?"
