Michael turns in bed, rolling over to hug his pillow. He clenches his eyes shut, grimacing at the fact that he's even stirred so early after such a late night and then he hears it again, the noise that must have disturbed his slumber; a knock at his door.

"Who the hell are you?" he asks not so sleepily, finally noticing a naked guy lying next to him in bed.

"I'm the guy you fucked last night."

"Oh. Yeah," he vaguely remembers, "Were you any good?"

The knock sounds again, Michael sits up in bed, calling out to whoever the fuck it is, "Okay I'm coming! And you're going," he adds to the dude next to him.

"Hi! We just happened to be in the neighbourhood and...oh...are we interrupting something?" Geordie's eyes are out on stalks when she walks in, realising Michael has company when she sees a guy's naked butt being quickly covered up by a pair of jeans in the corner of the bedroom.

"Not at all. We're all done," Michael assures her, holding the door open for the guy to exit, preferably as quickly as possible.

"Is this your kid?" the guy asks when he comes ambling up.

"Er, yes," Geordie answers, handing Gus to Michael with a look that isn't exactly approving.

"Oh, he is precious! Cooochy cooooey!" he cooes at Gus, his voice going higher and higher the more he tickles him whilst he lies in Michael's arms, before realising after a while that Michael's staring like thunder at him.

Clearing his throat, he straightens up, looking sheepish. "We'll do this again," he tells Michael with much more conviction than he feels.

"Yeah. Sure."

"You know if you visited once in a while we wouldn't have to drop by unannounced," Geordie passes Michael a soft toy to entertain Gus.

"Talk to your girlfriend."

"You can't exactly blame her for the way you behave."

"She's just jealous because she thinks you love me more than you love her, and she's right."

Geordie ignores him but she doesn't deny it, "We have a child now..."

"Yeah, you and me."

"And Maddie! So one way or another we all have to get along..."

Rolling his eyes, Michael concedes, "I'll try."

"How about you come over for a home cooked meal?" Geordie knows how Michael likes her cooking, even though he'd never admit it, and, as he's looking particularly lean at the moment, she decides he could do with some decent nutrition for a change.

"Seasoned with a dash of rat poison?"

"I was thinking garlic...there's a chicken thing I want to try that uses forty whole cloves, could you stomach that?

"The chicken or Maddie?"

Taking Gus back, Geordie ignores Michael-the-grouch, picking up her bag and swinging it onto her shoulder. Stopping by his front door, she tells him "Friday? Early? So you can still hit the bars?" and takes his silence for a yes.
