"Have some tea," Geordie says, handing Michael a steaming cup as he sits on the sofa in his loft.

"It's too hot," He says, handing it straight back to her.

"Here put this ice bag on your head," Sam instructs him.

"That's too cold," Michael says wincing and pushing it off his forehead.

"What are you? Goldilocks?" Asks Maddie from her seat in the corner.

"Time for your temperature! Roll over!" Corey injects some humour into the situation as he arrives from the bathroom with a thermometre in his hand.

"You're not sticking that thing up my ass!" Michael laughs as Corey bends over the back of the sofa, waving the stick dangerously close to Michael's backside.

"God that accident must really have jarred your brain!" Sam comments from his perch on the armrest.

"It wasn't an accident. That asshole kept ramming me."

"Did you get his licence plate?" Maddie asks.

"It was dark," Michael shrugs at her before readjusting his position on the sofa, wincing as he does so.

"What kind of car was it?" Luke asks. He'd been silent up until this point at finding all of Michael's friends at his apartment, all gathering once they'd found out what had happened last night.

"I don't know, some silver thing," Michael replies a little sleepily.

"Oh my god it was my Dad! I know it! No, I saw his car it was totally smashed!" He explains when people start poo pooing his idea.

"Hmmmm now why would your father do that?" Queries Maddie sarcastically, swinging around in her chair to look at Michael.

"Because my Mum told him everything! He wants to have you arrested and send me away." Luke stands up, agitated that his father would do something like this. Maybe he was serious about pulling him out of school and calling the cops on Michael.

"Don't be a drama princess."

"You'd better be careful, just in case," Geordie warns Michael as he rolls his eyes at Luke's dramatics.

"Don't worry about me, I'm invincible," He says decisively, getting up off the couch and leaping over the back of it.

"You've also got a concussion," calls Maddie as Michael lands.

"Fuck it!" Michael tells her, pressing a button to make music pour into the apartment from hidden speakers. "It's party time!"

He pulls Luke by the hand towards him into the middle of the room and starts dancing with him. He may not get to Arq tonight because of his stupid head but that won't stop him partying with the hottest boy in the room.

"Come on Sammy, shake your booty!" Corey calls as he and Sam pair up to dance and Maddie goes to sit on Geordie's knee, kissing, as they watch all four boys doing their thing.

Calum opens the door with his own key, the one Michael gave him years before for emergencies, not wanting to disturb his friend if he's sleeping the concussion off, and walks in with Stephen behind him to find a party going on; Corey dancing with his arms high in the air, the girls making out and Michael dancing groin to groin with Luke.

"Hey guys!" Michael calls, not phased in the slightest when he sees them both walk in. "Join the party."

"I thought you were really hurt," Calum says quietly, looking hurt and confused. The girls pull away from each other seeing Calum's expression and Stephen looking like thunder behind him.
