"I don't know what clothes to take!" Calum complains as he and Corey walk in and out of their bedrooms gathering together what they'll need for the road trip.
"Just pack your little black dress, works for all occasions!" Advises Corey, with his tongue in his cheek.
"Road trip! Road trip! Road trip!" They both chant, laughing, as they hear a knock at their door, thinking it must be Sam come to hurry them along. Corey disappears back into his bedroom, trying to hurry up before Sam tells him off for dawdling.
"Road..." Calum opens the door, his voice and smile petering off as he sees Stephen standing there, "...Trip..."
"I got your message."
"Well you didn't have to come all the way over here!" Calum says, uncertainly. Truth be told he hasn't thought about Stephen since leaving him a message earlier telling him that he'd be away for a night,
"Of course I did! Now what's all this about a trip to Melbourne?"
"Should I bring the black leather or the orange leather?" Corey calls out, bustling out of his bedroom with a pair of leather trousers in each of his hands.
"Stephen! Hi!" He cries, very obviously surprised to see him there. "Er, hey, you should come with us because after spending all night in Michael's Jeep we're all going to need... adjustments..."
He tails off, seeing Calum's face behind Stephen telling him to shut up.
"Luke ran away," Calum offers as Corey goes to hide in his bedroom, leaving Stephen looking at Calum for an explanation. "So..."
"You decided to form a search party," Stephen finishes for him.
"Corey and Sam and me."
"And Michael," Stephen says, filling in the gap that Calum had left. "Weren't we supposed to go to Geordie and Maddie's?"
"Oh shit! I'm sorry I forgot!"
"Nah, don't worry about it, you do what you have to do."
"Thanks, and er, I want you to know, I've been thinking seriously. Very seriously about, you know..."
"Living together?"
"Right."
"Okay, well, you have a safe trip. Wear your seatbelt!" Stephen tells him before giving Calum a goodbye kiss. "Goodbye Corey!" He calls, knowing that Corey was around the corner listening in to their conversation.
Corey comes out sheepishly to wave goodbye to Stephen and then looks at Calum, sending his apologies for letting the cat out of the bag. Calum just looks at him and sighs, forgiving him instantly and then sighs again at the night they have ahead of them. Suddenly it doesn't seem like so much fun anymore.

"Will you lot shut the fuck up?!" Michael explodes as he tries to listen as they all stop singing for the first time since they left Sydney. "No, not you, sorry," He says into the phone.
"Stop being such a party pooper!" Calum whisper-yells him.
"This is not a party!" Michael retorts, this is so far removed from his idea of a party and really not what he expected to be doing on a Sunday night. "So there haven't been any more charges on my Visa except for the flight to Melbourne?" He confirms into the phone. "And you'll let me know if there are?"
"Okay, let's sing show tunes, or Disney!" Corey suggests.
"If any one of you sings anything from Mulan or the Lion King I will leave you on the side of the road!" Threatens Michael.
