"It's all my fault!" Sam moans as he and Calum walk along a darkened Freedom Street after leaving Corey that evening. "I should never have brought him along to my HIV test. If he hadn't have had that scare this would never have happened!"

"You're not responsible for him losing his mind!"

"Maybe all he needs is one good fuck and he'll forget all about this!" Sam says, taking a flyer from a guy giving them out. "Hey! Look at this! Lex Dean is in a play!"

"The porn star?!" Calum asks incredulously.

"I have his entire collection on disc!"

Calum laughs, "I didn't even know he could talk!"

"I wonder what kind of play it is?" Sam muses, turning the flyer over to look at the back.

"What kind of play do you think Twelve Horny Men is?" Calum says sarcastically, bending down to read the front of the flyer, before looking up to grin at Sam.

"Why don't we find out?!"

"That feels so good!" Maddie says, breathing out the deep drag of her cigarette and blowing it into the mingled air of the Fox. "There are times I would do anything for a cigarette!"

"That's good to know. So why don't you indulge yourself when you feel like it?"

"I gave up smoking when we were expecting Gus. Geordie was concerned about second hand smoke, she was right."

"Is Geordie one of those people who's always infuriatingly right?"

"About almost everything, damn her!" Maddie laughs."You were such a relief at the shower! I mean, everyone talking babies, breathing babies!"

"It was a bit oppressive!"

"I mean don't get me wrong, I love my son. But sometimes..."

"...Sometimes you just need something else."

"You mind if I bum another?" Maddie asks, indicating the pack of smokes on the table between them.

"Have the whole pack!"

Maddie laughs again, "No it's okay thanks Amanda, one will do!"

"How long have you known me?! I don't do dates," Michael answers Luke, looking at him questioningly from his seat at the dining room table.

"It's not a date! I just want to know if you want to come to Arq with me tonight, now?" Luke smiles alluringly, leaning over with his elbows on the table, his chin in his cupped hands.

Michael takes his time looking at Luke as the lad's smile twitches, making his dimple pop in and out. He looks adorable. Michael sighs but tells him firmly, "The answer's no. I have work to do."

"Since when has that ever stopped you?!" Luke watches Michael walk around the table with a sheaf of papers in his hand. He slaps Luke hard on the arse for his smart answer which Luke quite enjoys.
