Cade left and I waved him goodbye. It was around eleven at night and I struggled as I walked upstairs to my room. Cade really hit it hard. Not that I didn't like it though. It's just the after effects that were kicking in. I changed into my night wear and crawled into bed.

World War III began inside my head.

A smile swept across my face at the thought.
Ever since freshman year, I've had a crush on him. Though he's always been out of reach. I've always been a sucker for his smile. His eyes were an amazing work of God. They were blue. Which reminded me, my last name is Blue. Coincidence? Hmmm... who knows?

His scent was so sexy and beautiful. I could look into his eyes until the sun comes up. I'd never stop being crazy about him ever. For him, he should know I'll keep trying till the sun stops rising. Like embers of the same fire, he was mine. The only sad thing right now was the fact that I had no one to celebrate with. Alisa was no longer a sister to me, much less a friend. And I blame Jack. I never really liked that guy ever since day one. There's just something about him that's off. But I did what I could do. Alison will never believe me. So I guess there's nothing to be done.

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the buzzing sound of my phone.

*Beep*Beep*

The caller ID wrote 'Cade'

Could this night get any better?

"Cade, hello." I said anxiously.

"Babe, how are you now? Did the bleeding stop?" He asked worriedly.

Butterflies made their way to my stomach when I heard his voice.

I couldn't answer him. He had no idea how his voice made me go weak. And he called me babe. This was literally the best part of my entire high school life.

Instead of answering I started giggling.

"Maia, are you there?"

"Yes, sorry, I just... umm, you called me babe. And you sound so worried, I'm fine babe." I said back.

"Aww, you're love struck aren't you? I'm sorry about the bleeding, at least you have the whole weekend to recover." He said.

"Yeah at least. So why'd you call?" I asked.

"Well remember when you said you and I don't know each other well?"

"Yeah... why?" I asked.

"You're right, you and I are strangers. I don't know your middle name, your favourite colour and your favourite music. So I want to know all about you and in return, you'll know all about me. I saw by the look on your face when I was driving you back that you looked a little unsteady. So I don't want it to seem like we're rushing into this. Let's take time to know each other, if that's okay with you." He said.

I was breathless.

"Wow, Cade. I uh, I think you're right about that. So let's start." I said, hardly believing what was bout to take place.

"So what's your middle name?"

"Bella, yours?"

"I don't have one, full name is Cade Harrison." He told me.

"Alright. Favourite colour?"

"Grey, yours? Let me guess, blue?" He said.

"Well I am a Blue by birth so yeah." I laughed and he laughed too.

"Favourite movie?"

"Fifty Shades all the way, yourself." I asked him.

"I'm not into movies. I can't concentrate that long." He said.

I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Wow, I'd ask your favourite sport but I know it's basketball." I told him.

"You got that right. What's yours?"

"Swimming. The water is blue, so it basically calls me all the time." I joked.

"I'm not surprised. So just out of curiosity, you never got intimate with any of your past boyfriends?" He asked.

"You're my first Cade." I told him.

He paused. I knew he'd be surprised.

"A beautiful girl like you?"

"Goofy if you ask me," I sighed.
"I've been a loner ever since I was born Cade. You're the first guy to ever be interested in me. First kiss and the one who possesses my innocence." I said.

"Wow. You're a precious and rare diamond. Please stay long enough so that I show you what it's like to be loved. And even if our hearts go the wrong way... I'll always know you're mine." He assured.

I guess these are the words I needed to hear when I said yes to him.

Before I could respond I heard my mom's car pulling up. I looked at my clock and it read '00:15'. I guess I lost track of time talking to Cade.

"I needed to hear that. But I have to go now. My mom's home. Goodnight. Thank you for a memorable night."

"Whenever and wherever. Goodnight. Sleep in peace." He said.

I hung up. Placed my phone under the pillow and replayed my version of events that had just taken place. I guess miracles do happen...

Cade really is for me.
