"All in, baby, don't hold nothing back
Wanna take control, ain't nothing wrong with that
Say you likin' how I'm feelin', gotta tell me that
Just put your skin, baby on my skin"

Maia

When the dark of the day filled the room. Cade and I stood face to face. We allowed the moonlight to expose all our secrets and darkest desires from within.

"Love is merely a madness." Cade whispered.

"I know, but it's making love that'll make you lose your head." I said.

He shook his head in disagreement.

"No my love, without love and attachment, a naked body is merely a lifeless sex toy." He argued.

I laughed.

"Prove it." I said.

"Fine then."

He carried me carefully to my bed. He started with a soft little kiss. It made me shiver a bit.

"You are like a god, like an immortal one." I whispered.

"I can only be that when I'm with you."

His kiss became more aggressive and passionate. His hands travelled all over.
Each and every single caress and touch made me weaker and left me longing for more.

He stripped off the clothes I had on and I did the same.

We were kissing like drowning people breathe, our souls making room for passion only.

His naked body pressed to mine, our sweat golden and glistening in the moonlight.

"Oh, Maia," He whispered to me.
"I am more mortal than all. It seems that a part of me dies every night that I lie with you."

If only he knew that the part of him that died last time created life inside me...
Too bad I can't tell him I'm pregnant now... it'll just ruin the moment.

The feeling of his tongue going to places it had never been increased my blood pressure.
I moaned and grasped onto the pillow.
His hands kept my body close to him. I let out small sounds of enjoyment as he pulled in and out continuously.
Minutes that felt like whole centuries of arousal came to the point where I couldn't breathe anymore.

"Should I keep going?" He asked.

"Don't stop." I said barely breathing.

I was out of breath. I can't lie. Everytime with him felt like paradise. The fulfilling joyride erased the scars that Jack had left on my body.

It was amusing, learning all his twists and turns so carefully. Enjoying his manly gifts and the magic inside his pants.
I reached my peak, and we both collapsed next to each other in my bed.

Afterwards, when we slept, paradise comaed and woken, we stayed a long time
looking at each other.
I do not know what he sees, but I see eyes of surpassing tenderness and calm, a calm like the dignity of matter. I love the open ocean
blue-grey-green of his iris, I love the curve of it against the white, that curve the sight of what has caused me to come, when he's quite still, deep inside me. I have never seen a curve like that, except the earth from outer
space. I don't know where he got his kindness without self-regard,almost without self, and yet he chose me instead of the others.

By knowing him, I get to know the purity of the animal which mates for life. Sometimes he is slightly smiling, but mostly he just gazes at me gazing, his entire face lit. I love to see it change if I cry-there is no worry, no pity, no graver radiance. If we are on our backs, side by side, with our faces turned fully to face each other, I can hear a tear from my lower eye hit the sheet, as if it is an early day on earth, and then the upper eye's tears
braid and sluice down through the lower eyebrow like the invention of farmimg, irrigation, a non-nomadic people.

I am so lucky that I can know him.

This is the only way to know him.

I am the only one who knows him.

...

When I wake again, he is still looking at me,
as if he is eternal. For an hour we wake and doze, and slowly I know that though we are sated, though we are hardly touching, this is the coming the other coming brought us to the edge of-we are entering, deeper and deeper, gaze by gaze, this place beyond the other places, beyond the body itself, we are making love. It's like morning sex that leaves your legs shaky for the rest of the day...
